Green Arrow Duck didn't force Alice to cooperate. "These things aren't difficult. First, I'm confident I can protect you. But What If...? you're worried, just tell me where the entrance is, and I'll go in myself. I won't force you into danger."

"Secondly, if you're willing to help me, I'll help you too. Whatever you do, I'll do the same; everything will be rewarded. I won't take your efforts for nothing, whether it's your time or information."

"But don't mistakenly believe that a little kindness will make me your slave. I will say no when necessary, even if it involves lives or other interests."

Trying to stand up straight, Alice let go of her hands, allowing herself to stand on her own two feet. Although she was still somewhat unsteady and couldn't even walk freely.

She looked at the Duck Plushie. "Now I only have one question left."

"Speak."

"You don't want me to go out in this outfit and get chased by Zombies, do you?"

Alice was wearing a very ordinary hospital gown. It was a single piece in the front and tied up in the back with a rope. Basically, whenever she ran, her buttocks would be exposed.

The Green Arrow Duck pointed towards the exit. "We can go to the medical staff's changing room; hopefully, someone didn't take all their clothes with them. As for you, you'll probably have to find something that fits you yourself."

"Okay, let's go. Let's go take a look."

Green Arrow Duck opened the door first and left the room. Alice followed.

The rest of the hospital wasn't much either. But compared to the first lab, which only had beds, the rest was much better; at least the feeling of oppression wasn't as strong.

Instead of leading the person to the empty medical staff changing room, the Green Arrow Duck found the one used by the guards. With its Super Vision, doing something like that wouldn't be difficult.

Inside, there were rows of lockers. Alice randomly picked out a set of clothes from one of the lockers, seemingly without any particular preference, grabbing whatever she saw.

Seeing how nonchalant this formidable character from Sleeping Beauty was, Green Arrow Duck didn't linger. Instead, he pointed to the next door. "I'll wait for you next door. Come over when you've changed."

Alice ignored the presence of Green Arrow Duck and ripped off her hospital gown before he left. Perhaps because of the costume, she overlooked the fact that there was actually a living person inside.

However, this was not a reason for Green Arrow Duck to stay, and he went to the next room.

When Alice caught up, she was wearing a loose denim jumpsuit and even had a shotgun with her.

Noticing the Green Arrow Duck was facing her, the plush toy's expression was indescribable. Holding the gun, she explained, "It might be a guard's personal item; they didn't take it."

Bring it if you think you need it.

"Unfortunately, we don't have many bullets. Do you have any shotgun shells?"

"No, I don't." Shotguns, with their limited power and reliance on range, aren't very effective against Green Arrow Duck, so it's better not to use them. "Ready?"

Alice nodded, and the two left the hospital together.

Once on the street, Raccoon City was much quieter under the streetlights. However, unlike in the movies, there weren't car crashes or abandoned vehicles everywhere. It seemed the female lead had arrived earlier than expected.

"Where are we going?" Alice asked Green Arrow Duck.

This left Green Arrow Duck speechless. "That's the question I should be asking you."

"I—" Alice stammered, trying to recall what had happened, but a headache prevented Alice from thinking any further. She could only say, "Raccoon City is quite large, and I'm here for work, so my area of activity is limited. This just happens to be a place I don't recognize."

Okay, just because someone has lived here, it's too presumptuous to assume they're familiar with everything about this city.

People who can do this are called taxi drivers. The average person's social circle is really small.

Green Arrow Duck could only ask, "Then what do you remember?"

While checking her surroundings, Alice said, "The suburbs, a detached house, where I live is in Hive Base."

One of the entrances and exits to the area. Within the city, the subway exit is another entrance and exit, but it's quite far away.

"You said there's a Zombies outbreak outside, but it doesn't seem as serious as you make it out to me. At least I haven't seen any Deadman wandering around on the streets. But there are definitely fewer people around. What day is it today?"

Green Arrow Duck replied, "It's Tuesday, and it's not even 9 PM yet. Not only are the students on Summer Vacation, but given the size of Raccoon City, it's very unusual to see so few people on the streets."

No sooner had they finished speaking than a car accident occurred nearby. The sound of the collision startled the two Green Arrow Duck.

Alice took the lead and was about to rescue the person. But as soon as she got close, she saw that the man in the driver's seat had completely lost his mind and looked like he wanted to scratch and bite anyone he saw.

The person was stuck in the driver's seat; otherwise, they would have climbed out and started biting someone by now. The Green Arrow Duck, walking to the back, raised its hand and fired a railgun, blasting the Zombies's brainstem and finishing it off.

Speechless, Alice looked at the Duck Plushie that had fired the gun. "If this thing weren't uncontrollable, I'd suspect you were in cahoots."

"No, this kind of thing can still be controlled." Green Arrow Duck pointed around. At the same time, he understood how Betty Thaddeus Ross and the group of soldiers had been surrounded and attacked earlier.

Simply put, it involves controlling a Rabbit Armor as bait to walk in front. Zombies that instinctively chase after fresh meat will be gathered together and move in a certain direction.

Perhaps the Green Arrow Duck's sabotage of the lab's surveillance equipment made the person behind it feel threatened. That's why they brought in...

A Legion Zombies appeared, ready to kill an unplanned target.

I wonder if they intend to deal with Alice as well, but the current situation is anything but ordinary.

Alice approached Green Arrow Duck and asked, "I just said I don't have enough ammo. Any suggestions?"

"Sit on the Duck Butt. The encirclement isn't closed yet; we have a place to crawl out."

"Won't sitting up there prevent you from using the machine gun?"

"There aren't many enemies in the direction we're heading, so we don't need machine guns."

Without a word, Alice jumped onto the Duck Butt, riding backwards while holding the gun. Green Arrow Duck immediately used its Micro-hover System and glided away like an ice skater.

With a few smooth changes of direction, Green Arrow Duck didn't even need to deliberately take down the Zombies on the road; these Monster were neither an obstacle nor a catch-up. In an instant, all the Zombies that had gathered around the Rabbit Armor bait were left behind.

"Where do we go now?" Alice, who had been keeping a close watch on the surroundings and ready to shoot the Zombies at any moment, relaxed slightly and asked.

"Go to the Police Station and see if there are any officers who can find the location based on your description. At least I know where the Police Station is."

"Then let's go."

Alice did not object to Green Arrow Duck's suggestion, and the two traveled along the main road at a speed that rivaled that of Motorcycle.
