A Troubling State of Mind

Ever since her near-death experience, Cassie Webb had felt that her world had become abnormal. Especially after touching that man, Henry Brown, it was as if the entire world had undergone an earth-shattering change.

Countless familiar scenes and illusions that flashed before her eyes from time to time disrupted her perception. These strange visions sometimes appeared more than once, and there was no pattern or order to their emergence.

Many times, these visions felt so real that it was as though she had personally experienced them. It was like she had already gone through what was happening a minute ago, only to inexplicably return to that moment a minute earlier and relive the interval all over again.
