The sixty-sixth day on the Orange Islands, Xiao Yu.
Ever since Zapdos had flown into the clouds above Mikan Island, the peaceful little island had entered an unusually rainy season. Fine rain fell endlessly, ruining Yu Hai's plans to air out his bedding.
Only around lunchtime, when he recalled Zapdos into its Poké Ball, would the sun peek through gaps in the clouds and cast a few rays of warmth upon the earth, making people want to stretch comfortably.
This rare sunlight was an excellent chance for him to recover. During those few hours, he had his Pokémon give the house a thorough cleaning.
After all, the house had been empty for a year, and thick dust covered every corner. Each step stirred up a small cloud of dust, and the air was filled with a stale smell.
Today was the sixth day since he had returned to Mikan Island. Following Nurse Joy's instructions, he needed his medication changed once a week. He could only have Slowking take him to the Pokémon Center and ask the Nurse Joy here to help change his dressings.
To avoid unnecessary trouble, Gengar, Poliwrath, Lucario, and several other partners came along as well. They silently entered the Pokémon Center without attracting the attention of the other Trainers.
Wearing a mask and cap that concealed him completely, he cautiously approached Nurse Joy. After arriving before her, he looked around first. Only after confirming that no one nearby was paying attention did he take out his Investigator ID from his pocket and hand it to her.
Nurse Joy accepted the ID and examined it carefully. A trace of confusion flickered through her eyes, but she still accepted Yu Hai's request and led him to the dressing room.
Only after entering the dressing room did Yu Hai
