Boom—

A deafening explosion erupted, seeming as though it would overturn the entire arena. A violent Explosion burst forth in the battlefield, its shockwaves spreading outward like a savage beast and battering the energy barrier surrounding the field.

Dust and smoke immediately surged skyward within the barrier, blotting out the sky and making it impossible to see what was happening inside.

One thing was certain: Fearow must have slammed hard into Torterra. Otherwise, such a terrifying explosion could never have occurred.

The spectators recoiled from the sudden blast. Some covered their ears, while others stared wide-eyed, their faces filled with tension and excitement.

"This explosion is incredible!"

"Between Fearow and Torterra, who came out on top?"

The audience whispered among themselves, buzzing with speculation...

After quite a while, the lingering dust gradually dispersed, like a heavy curtain being slowly drawn aside. A shocking crater had appeared in the once-level ground, its walls jagged and uneven, while the surrounding earth had been shaken into deep cracks.

Torterra lay flat on its back, its eyes tightly shut and its body motionless. It had clearly fainted.

Fearow lay not far from Torterra, its wings hanging weakly as it panted heavily. Every breath took effort. Though it had not fainted, it was clearly out of strength.

"Torterra has lost its ability to battle. Contestant Raisu, please recall Torterra and send out your next Pokémon." Standing at the edge of the field with a whistle in hand, the referee blew a sharp blast, his stern voice formally announcing the outcome of the round.

Raisu frowned slightly, a trace of helplessness flashing across his face before he quickly regained his composure. He took out a Poké Ball and called to Torterra, "Come back, Torterra. You did very well."

Torterra turned into a beam of red light
