"Yo, yo," Poliwag hadn't fainted yet. It opened its tired eyes and saw Yu Hai giving it water. Poliwag cooperatively opened its little mouth, letting Yu Hai pour the water in.

Seeing this, Yu Hai also quietly breathed a sigh of relief. Poliwag wasn't actually in any serious danger or injured. It was just exhausted from overusing its moves and severely depleted its stamina. It just needed rest.

Moreover, this battle wasn't without its gains. After Yu Hai finished giving Poliwag water, he let it rest properly.

But Yu Hai refused the food Poliwag pushed towards him. He pushed it back and said with a smile, "I'm not hungry. This is for you. You caught the Magikarp all by yourself. You're amazing."

While praising Poliwag, Yu Hai also stroked its blue head.

"Yoyo, yoyo," praised by Yu Hai, Poliwag's tired eyes narrowed, revealing an expression of enjoyment as Yu Hai petted it.

Actually, Yu Hai had been quite worried about Poliwag just now. Since the crisis had been resolved, there was nothing left to worry about.

At the time, his attention was focused on Pidgey. He had assumed that if Pidgey didn't come down, Poliwag would be fine. He hadn't noticed Poliwag continuously firing Water Gun, nor had he noticed Poliwag's condition. This was also his mistake.

However, Poliwag's stamina for Water Gun only lasted for about ten shots before it was exhausted, which was also something he hadn't expected. It was probably because its body hadn't fully recovered yet.
