There was also Magneton's evolution. Since there were crystals here that could restore electricity, Magneton's evolution would happen here. He would let Magneton absorb more electricity.

In the anime, Zapdos often came here. After replenishing its electricity each time, it would charge the crystals. That would be the best opportunity for evolution—absorbing some of Zapdos's electricity.

There was also Golurk. He had already had Golurk try the move Minimize, which could shrink its more than four-meter-tall body down to two meters. It was a little shorter than Hana Hana at that size, but it was enough.

He left Golurk with Umbreon and Gengar, asking the two to teach Golurk some common sense in the forest—how to control its strength, and the relationship between Pokémon and Trainers. He would raise its affection later.

He also had to accompany Zapdos through its adaptation process to prevent any accidents. He was afraid something would happen if he looked away for even a second, so he really could not spare the time.

After lunch, he released Sharp-toothed Fish by the lake and fed it Energy Cubes to raise its affection. From time to time, he praised it—good job, that was a precise catch—while also training the accuracy of its Water Gun.

Then he had Zapdos discharge into the lake. It only needed to keep using Electric-type moves until it was exhausted, then soak in the lake to restore its electricity. By repeating this, its cells and feathers would adapt to the flow of electricity.

Zapdos's Potential had reached sixty-one. He had Celebi to thank for that. Celebi's treatment, likely through its life force, had repaired Zapdos's genetic defects, allowing it to
