Opening Ceremony

Twenty days after returning to the Orange Islands, it was cloudy.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Fireworks exploded, jolting Yu Hai awake from his sleep. He then heard urgent knocking at the door. He had only just opened his eyes when Ada pushed the door open.

"A Hai, the opening ceremony has started! How much longer are you going to sleep?" Dunmei was dressed beautifully today, with her arms, shoulders, and thighs exposed. A vast expanse of pale skin swayed before his eyes.

Yu Hai had drunk wine last night and was still groggy. He rubbed the corners of his eyes with difficulty, where a huge clump of eye gunk still hung.

"Isn't the Preliminary Round four days long? You can challenge people whenever you want in a day. You just need to win four battles and get four participation Badges," Yu Hai said as he threw back the covers and let out a huge yawn.

He had wanted to keep sleeping. There was no rush for the Preliminary Round, but Dunmei stomped her feet anxiously, leaving him no choice but to comfort her a little.

"Fine, I'll wash my face first." Yu Hai got up, dressed, and headed to the bathroom. After a quick wash, he grabbed his backpack and headed for Citrus Stadium with Dunmei.

"Ada, hurry up!" Dunmei was afraid that if they arrived too late, the opening ceremony would already be over.

"Pelipper, please take us there." The three of them had just left their room, and running there now would be too exhausting. They might as well use a Pokémon for transportation.

Watching the three of them take to the sky on Pokémon, Dunmei's Father and Dunmei's Mother opened the window and looked after them, sighing helplessly. "Young people are always so rash..."

"Child's
