Two Big Daddies

The twenty-seventh day after returning to the Orange Islands, cloudy.

It was the final day of the Group Stage. After today's matches, only the top 256 contestants would remain and advance together into the Knockout Stage. Therefore, the final Group Stage match was very important, determining whether many contestants could secure better rankings.

Early in the morning, Dunmei should have come to knock on the door as usual, but she had not gone back last night. She had stayed in Yu Hai and Ada's room instead.

If anyone wanted to ask, of course they each had a bed. This was originally a double room, perfectly reasonable, right?

However, when they slept at night, Dunmei had squeezed over beside him so adorably. Naturally, he pretended to be asleep and unaware. If his hands wandered somewhere, he was unaware of that too. Flat as she was, having someone warm the bed was not bad.

Two people sleeping in a single bed—anyone who had lived in a dorm during their student days understood. Those who did not, well, there was nothing to be done.

Early that morning, Dunmei shook him awake. The two went to the bathroom to wash up, then headed to the cafeteria for breakfast and brought food to the Pokémon Center.

After visiting Ada at the Pokémon Center, Dunmei's Mother saw them out and urged them to hurry to their match so they would not waste time.

"Xiao Hai, I can rest easy leaving Xiao Mei to you. You two must compete well and try to bring back a good ranking," Dunmei's Mother said meaningfully, watching them with a smile in her eyes. The more she looked, the more satisfied she became.
