Teacher Prin later came to a bench on campus and sat down. In front of him was a lawn of green grass, with students scattered here and there across it, chatting.
Passing students or school gardeners would greet Teacher Prin... and, of course, he always responded politely.
Apparently, quite a few people knew him... but no one stopped to talk with him—perhaps the female students from the Theology Department with ulterior motives were the exception?
He sat alone, eating bread and drinking coffee he had bought from the convenience store.
Of course, he was not actually alone... because beside Teacher Prin was something ordinary people could not see: Ghost Nero.
"Eating alone is the first level of loneliness." Ghost Nero now looked as though she had seen through the ways of the world... She had even grown a thick beard on her chin.
"Why did you turn into this?" Teacher Prin asked curiously, looking at Ghost Nero.
"What's wrong with it?" Ghost Nero blinked.
Teacher Prin shook his head, then thought for a moment before saying, "Ever since I first met you, you seem to have kept changing your appearance. You seem... very afraid of settling into one particular form... Are you afraid of letting others become familiar with you, or afraid of becoming familiar with yourself in one particular form?"
Ghost Nero slowly floated directly in front of Teacher Prin, blocking his view as she made a ghostly face and said, "Mr. Death, I'm not a romanceable character in an 18+ game~ Even if you win me over, no strange CGs will appear~~"
