It was almost eleven in the morning when Mr. Smith was finally woken by Mrs. Elara. He had kept watch over his wife in the ward until nearly seven, when he had unknowingly fallen asleep.

Mrs. Elara had brought him some food... Mr. Smith wiped his face haphazardly and became a little more alert. He glanced at the situation in the ward, and his expression immediately turned serious again.

"Don't worry, son." Mrs. Elara spoke slowly. "The doctor said Debra's condition has improved... See? Bad things will pass eventually!"

"Really!" Mr. Smith immediately perked up, even feeling as though his mental fatigue had vanished completely.

"You have to believe me, Smith." Mrs. Elara smiled. "That's what the doctor just told me... Come on, you should eat something now, my child."

"Thank you, Mother." Mr. Smith nodded, then suddenly remembered something. "What happened to Joe?"

Whenever Joe came up, both Mr. Smith and Mrs. Elara felt extremely puzzled. The child had been missing all day yesterday, only to miraculously appear in the hospital lobby later. When the police found him, they couldn't wake him no matter what they did.

Because of that, Mr. Smith and Mrs. Elara had been nervous for quite some time. If he hadn't been in the hospital and examined by a doctor, who said that Joe's body showed no abnormalities... But if there was nothing wrong with his body, why couldn't they wake him?

"He woke up too." Mrs. Elara smiled. "The doctor examined him, and Joe is perfectly healthy. There's absolutely nothing wrong with him...
