"Matsuba, Nawaki, what are you two talking about?" Their classmates came walking toward them.
"Look, Hyuga Matsuba looks like he just won the lottery. He's grinning like an idiot."
"Get lost!" Hyuga Matsuba kicked him without hesitation.
"Wow, that's ruthless! You actually treated me like this? If you cripple me, just wait until you regret it." Nawaki lay on the ground.
"Fine, fine. Once you're crippled, let's see how you're going to come after me."
"What do you mean?" Nawaki looked even more like an idiot now.
Hyuga Matsuba was genuinely worried about his intelligence. Rubbing his head, he said, "Kid, if I cripple you, you'll never be able to beat me again."
With that, Hyuga Matsuba stepped through the school gates without even looking back at Nawaki.
"Get up already. You're not actually crippled, are you?" Guyue asked Nawaki with concern written all over his face.
"You little bastard, don't run if you've got the guts!" Nawaki scrambled up and hurried after him.
"It's pretty lively over there. Let's go take a look too." Before Nawaki could get his revenge, Hyuga Matsuba smoothly changed the subject.
"Huh?" The students in the distance had gathered together, and more kept arriving. Nawaki had always loved watching excitement, so he immediately forgot about revenge and eagerly headed over.
"What happened?" Morihiro had also noticed the crowd and asked Hyuga Matsuba what was going on.
Hyuga Matsuba couldn't be bothered to answer. He gave a cold snort. "Did water get into your brain? I just got here too. How would I know?"
Morihiro gave an awkward laugh, only then realizing that he really hadn't thought his question through.
"But you don't see a scene like this very often. Did a fight break out? Should we go check it out too?"
"I don't like watching excitement. Go if you want." Sudan Oude flatly refused Morihiro's invitation.
But his refusal was ignored, and Morihiro quickly dragged him away by force.
Hyuga Matsuba didn't want to join them, not because he didn't want to watch the excitement, but because halfway there, he spotted his adorable deskmate, Mikoto.
"Mikoto! I'm over here!" Hyuga Matsuba jumped up and shouted in her direction.
Mikoto ran over as well, wearing an incredibly adorable smile. "You're here so early today!"
Why again? Hyuga Matsuba felt like his ears were about to grow calluses.
He had only arrived a little late the day before. It wasn't like he had been late to school. Why did everyone think he would never arrive early?
"Look, there are so many people over there. Let's go too!" Hyuga Matsuba took Mikoto's soft little hand and headed toward the crowd.
Mikoto became shy again. She gave a slight token struggle, then let Hyuga Matsuba hold her hand. Her heart was practically pounding out of her chest, racing at nearly eighty miles an hour.
Once they reached the crowd, Hyuga Matsuba discovered that the Hyuga brothers had gotten into a conflict with members of the Uchiha Clan.
"What happened? Did Uchiha Ken want to beat up the Hyuga brothers to get even?" Hyuga Matsuba nudged Di'adao. Since he had arrived earlier, there was an eighty percent chance that he knew what had happened.
Before Di'adao could say anything, Mikoto tugged on Hyuga Matsuba's sleeve and lowered her head as she softly said, "The one standing in front is the eldest son of our clan head. His name is Uchiha Fugaku."
"Huh?!" Hyuga Matsuba smiled disdainfully.
"Just now, Uchiha Fugaku bullied several boys from the Hyuga Clan and insulted your clan too. When Hiashi heard about it, he came over to demand justice." Di'adao slowly explained what had happened.
Hyuga Matsuba looked over. He had seen that bullied boy a few times before.
"Isn't that Hyuga Cement, Hyuga Gangjin's older brother? How did Uchiha Fugaku beat him up?"
"Uchiha Fugaku, do you dare fight me?" Hyuga Hiashi glared, fury seeming ready to burst from his eyes.
Matsuba, who was watching from the side, wanted to step in and stop him, but he had no way to halt his brother's actions.
Uchiha Fugaku was an upperclassman who would graduate before long. Looking at it that way, Hyuga Hiashi was no match for him at all.
"Hiashi! Stop it! The situation is unfavorable for us. If you fight him now, it'll be like an egg smashing against a rock! What if you get beaten to a pulp? Wouldn't our clan lose all face?" Hyuga Matsuba seemed to be trying to calm things down, but he was actually fanning the flames.
"Brother, let's remember this grudge for now. It won't be too late to take revenge later!"
"Heh, today I'll show you that the Uchiha Clan is nothing but a paper tiger!" Hyuga Hiashi was too furious to listen now. All he wanted was to defeat Uchiha Fugaku.
"You should have some substance before talking big, kid. I'm willing to fight you. I ought to teach you a lesson." Uchiha Fugaku clenched his fists, his face full of disdain for Hyuga Hiashi.
Uchiha Fugaku really didn't take him seriously at all. Hyuga Hiashi was nearly furious to death, biting his lips so hard they were about to bleed. He wished he could rush over and tear that guy apart the next second.
"Go to hell! Eight Trigrams Sixteen Palms!"
Hyuga Hiashi activated his Ninjutsu. The blood in his body boiled as he charged forward without regard for appearances. At the same time, a formation appeared around Uchiha Fugaku, and his hands rapidly shifted through techniques, precisely striking at Uchiha Fugaku's acupoints.
If those blows really landed, even Uchiha Fugaku might not be able to take them.
But Uchiha Fugaku was no ordinary person. Comma-like tomoe symbols appeared in his eyes, rotating clockwise within his sockets.
Even though a tomoe Sharingan at this level was not particularly powerful, dealing with Hyuga Hiashi's little tricks was more than easy enough.
The attacks that had been moving at lightning speed seemed to suddenly stall as they reached Uchiha Fugaku, slowing drastically. He easily turned aside and dodged the palms.
Everything happened too quickly. The onlookers felt that the scene was incredibly thrilling, and their hearts itched with excitement.
"So this is the Hyuga Clan's Gentle Fist, and the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan? I've really broadened my horizons today!"
"Me too! When will I ever be able to learn something like that?"
Of course, there were also plenty of clueless spectators eagerly discussing it with the people beside them. The scene was a complete mess.
"If Hiashi loses later, we'll help him out. If nothing else, we're classmates. We can't just stand here and watch Hiashi get beaten up." Nawaki gritted his teeth, itching to join in.
Hyuga Matsuba looked speechlessly at the excited Nawaki and quietly said, "I think you're dying to rush in and join the fight."
Hyuga Hiashi had already used up all his moves and was now completely exhausted, as though he had expended every ounce of strength in his body.
Although Eight Trigrams Sixteen Palms was only a relatively basic, low-level technique within the Hyuga Clan's Gentle Fist, it still consumed a great deal of stamina. With Hyuga Hiashi's current ability, he could barely perform it three times.
In other words, after using it three times, Hiashi would exhaust all his strength and be completely unable to continue fighting.
At that moment, Hiashi did not want to expend too much more stamina, so he pulled a Kunai Sword from his backpack and prepared to fight Uchiha Fugaku with swordsmanship.
