At one in the morning, the area outside the Pyramid Museum suddenly became lively.
Several hackers stayed behind at the hotel, remotely hacking the museum's surveillance system through relay devices planted inside the museum during the day.
"All surveillance cameras around the museum have been replaced with static footage."
Then several vans drove up near the museum's rear entrance and stopped some distance away.
"Signal jammers activated. Mobile phones and radios are now useless."
Two people stepped out of the vans, quickly found the signal box, and began fiddling with it.
"The museum's signal lines have been cut. Even the landlines can't make calls now."
They really were quite professional!
Then a business van drove onto the road beside the museum. Its doors opened, and a team of Black-Clothed Men stepped out, carrying all kinds of equipment.
"Okay! Everyone, be careful. As long as we don't trigger the alarm, we have a full four hours. Get to work."
The leader spoke, and a burst of teasing laughter came through his earpiece.
The next moment, six more groups emerged from quiet alleys nearby and converged near the museum's rear entrance.
"Move!"
At the command, someone scaled the wall and entered, then opened the rear door from inside. A crowd filed in one after another, utterly silent.
The guard in the rear entrance duty room had been struck in the neck with an anesthetic needle and was now sprawled over the desk, sleeping like a log.
"Forget the front entrance. There are still three guards in the surveillance room. John, Eli, you two deal with them."
"Received!"
"Don't worry, boss. They'll sleep sweetly."
The two broke away from the main group and headed straight for the surveillance room in the work area behind the museum.
