Si Lingxi and Lu Zheng flew all the way, quickly leaving the Central Plains and reaching the edge of the Continuous Mountain Sect's territory in the Southern Borderlands.
"Demonic Blood," Si Lingxi said.
Lu Zheng patted his gourd, and a drop of pale blue blood bound beneath layers upon layers of seals was retrieved.
The blood floated in midair, as large as a marble. Ripples stirred across its surface, while at its core, a cluster of flames seemed to smolder faintly.
Si Lingxi took the Demonic Blood and added another layer of seals with a backhand motion, then looked toward the Cloud Palace Treasure Mirror Lu Zheng had summoned before them.
Her slender jade hands formed seals.
Her radiant divine soul drew upon the Demonic Blood.
The next moment, the Cloud Palace Treasure Mirror emitted a faint spiritual glow, yet not a trace of aura leaked out.
At the same time, layers upon layers of mist appeared upon the mirror's surface.
A moment later, Si Lingxi's gaze shifted, and she said gravely, "There are actually three!"
"Three?" Lu Zheng was startled.
Si Lingxi said flatly, "They are all Demonic Beasts granted Demonic Blood by that Yuan Ya Old Demon, but the Old Demon himself is not among them."
The next moment, the clouds and mist on the Cloud Palace Treasure Mirror dispersed, revealing a figure.
She was a middle-aged woman, currently seated atop a cliff, drawing in the sunlight and cultivating in tranquil concentration.
"Someone from the Continuous Mountain Sect?" Lu Zheng asked.
"Most likely." Si Lingxi nodded. As she drew the view back, a mountaintop and a cluster of buildings appeared within the Treasure Mirror's image.
The mountain was not large, but it was secluded and tranquil.
The buildings were few, but they blended together in natural harmony.
