"Bang!" The dormitory door was thrown open.
Yuan Guang was so startled he nearly slid off the bed. He craned his head up and saw Song He rush into the room in a panic, crouching on the floor to pack his suitcase.
"What happened? Why are you in such a panic, Brother Song?" Yuan Guang asked.
"The bus leaves in half an hour. I'll be staying at Jinghai University for a while!" Song He hurriedly stuffed underwear and socks into his suitcase.
"Damn, the school is really treating us like dirt, sending out the notice so suddenly!" Yuan Guang quickly climbed out of bed. "What else do you need? I'll help you pack!"
"Thanks!"
"Why thank me? We're roommates! We've slept in the same bed... No, I mean, we've shared a room!"
The two of them bustled around.
Song He didn't have many personal belongings: a few changes of clothes, shampoo, body wash, soap, and laundry soap, plus a toothbrush, toothpaste, and cup. He soon had everything packed.
The suitcase was only two-thirds full, leaving one-third of its space available. That became the microscope's new home.
The Biology Laboratory probably wouldn't be short of microscopes, but Song He figured that these high school students were only going there to go through the motions and might not receive very good treatment. He decided to bring one along, just in case.
He stuffed his laptop and phone into his laptop bag. Valuables had to stay with him.
Song He also packed several mathematics books.
Xiong Jincheng's Point Set Topology Lecture Notes, Yang Zixu's Modern Algebra, Ding Shisun's Introduction to Algebra, and several others, along with their accompanying exercise books, were all prizes he had received that evening.
"You're going to a biology experiment, and you're still bringing math books?" Yuan Guang froze.
