Song He was startled and looked up at Xie Yuanxun across from him. "That fast?"
Xie Yuanxun wore a smug expression as their eyes met. "It's a one-to-one draw."
"Too early to say!" Song He said doubtfully.
The two stared at each other for a moment, understanding one another without words. Then they spoke in unison. "Let's see yours!"
The two laptops were pushed toward each other at the same time. After switching computers, they both bent over the screens intently, examining the Drone Trajectory Model the other had built.
"Why did you write so much?!" Xie Yuanxun was bewildered and shocked. He rapidly spun the mouse wheel, but after a long while, he still had not reached the bottom.
"You finished with so little?!" Song He was even more bewildered and shocked.
It felt like two top students comparing answers after an exam. One had solved a major problem in just four lines, while the other had used forty lines and still had not finished. At first glance, seeing the difference in the lengths of their answers, both of them could not help feeling a chill in their hearts.
The two exchanged a glance, then frowned and studied each other's models.
A moment later, Song He suddenly understood. "You made a Fixed-Point Model!"
"You didn't make a moving one, did you?" Xie Yuanxun was dumbfounded. "Are you crazy, Brother Song?"
Xie Yuanxun's model was very simple. He set a launch point and a recovery point, then determined the approximate trajectory of the drone swarm from the outset based on the distance between the two points.
Song He's model, however, had only a launch point. The recovery point was mobile, even changing speed and direction. The drone swarm's trajectory had to change constantly to keep up.
"The Fixed-Point Model is
