Main City.
It was called Main City, yet there were no pavilions or grand towers. Instead, it was filled with wooden bandit-style strongholds that gave off the air of mountain kings. Muddy roads crisscrossed the area as NPCs wandered back and forth.
Main City was the players' home base for accepting quests and buying equipment. Weapons were disabled, and the atmosphere was peaceful.
Song He tapped the screen. His level-one gunner, "All-Night God of War," had a rough appearance: a muscular bald head, nothing but a pair of oversized shorts, and a pistol in his hand.
Players streamed along the streets of Main City. Players were constantly appearing out of nowhere. It seemed the students had all rushed to log in as soon as they returned to the dorms.
Mages wore enormous cloaks and radiated a mysterious aura. Swordsmen carried huge blades, their edges gleaming. Zombies were greenish, slimy monsters, ugly as hell.
A few zombies walked past, leaving green slime on the road... Being ugly was one thing, but did they really have to relieve themselves everywhere?
After a brief moment of confusion, "All-Night God of War" set off to explore Main City. He ran up to every NPC, pressing himself against them like a pervert and touching them all over.
He quickly figured out the functions of several NPCs.
There was an alchemist who sold health potions, a blacksmith who bought metal, and a butcher who purchased Wild Monster pelts... Song He noticed that "zombie meat" was also listed in the butcher's purchase menu. Could zombie players actually cut off their own flesh and sell it for money?
Those NPCs had nothing to do with him for now. A new player's inventory was completely empty, and they were so poor they did not even have a single coin.
