After passing his assessment and reaching Qi Refining Layer 4, he resumed life on Little Spirit Void Peak and encountered Chu Jinmo and Yan Ru.

• Han Yi discovered the Proficiency Panel and improved his alchemy until he could refine pills, then Guan Di arranged for him to work at the Mystic Fire Pill Shop in Mengshan City.
• Han Yi made a deal with Guan Sheng to refine Evil Warding Pills, advanced to Qi Refining Layer 3, and strengthened his Spirit Void Finger while Jiang De and Guan Sheng plotted against him.
• Jiang De attacked Han Yi in an alley, and Han Yi killed him with a barrage of Spirit Void Fingers before returning to his courtyard with Jiang De’s storage pouch.
• Han Yi refused Guan Sheng’s demand to help with the shop inspection, secretly mastered the Sword Control Technique, and escaped Mengshan City before Guan Sheng could catch him.
• Han Yi returned to the Mystic Pill Sect, passed the Return-to-Sect Assessment by refining Qi Nourishing Pills, and chose to remain on Little Spirit Void Peak.

After surviving the fall of his squad and killing several pursuers, he faced a dangerous young Blood God Sect cultivator wielding the Golden Light Shuttle.

• Han Yi turned down peak invitations, advanced his techniques, and sold pills while keeping his wealth discreet.
• After killing Li Kui during an ambush near Sunset Market, Han Yi avoided the market and continued cultivating.
• A Heavenly Demon attack struck Little Spirit Void Peak, and Chu Jinmo later warned Han Yi that a sect conscription order might come.
• Han Yi paid Zhou Xiong for a chance to avoid the Demon Cave expedition, then learned the war had devastated the sect and the wider cultivation world.
• Han Yi reached Qi Refining Layer 6 but was excluded from the Inner Peak selection because he had avoided the expedition.

After surviving Heavenfall City, Han Yi sold his spoils, advanced to the inner sect, and uncovered a Blood God Sect spy. Years later, new sect policies sent him to the Myriad Demon Mountains, where his team faced a peak ninth-rank Tiger Demon.

• Han Yi and Luo Yunzhou returned from Heavenfall City with the surviving Mystic Pill Sect disciples, while Han Yi kept his victory over Yuan Bai and the Golden Light Shuttle secret.
• Han Yi sold several captured artifacts, learned that Great Qian had brokered a ceasefire, and bought seven Wind Demon Daggers before cultivating to Qi Refining Layer 7.
• Han Yi passed the inner-sect assessment, joined Azure Dragon Peak, and discovered that Chu Yi was a Blood God Sect spy.
• Han Yi secretly reported Chu Yi to the sect, and Sect Master Yuan Shun confirmed that the spy had been captured before warning Han Yi of greater challenges ahead.

After helping Luo Yunzhou secure the Luo Clan’s spirit fields, Han Yi learned Liu Heng had slaughtered Luo Yunzhou and the clan, and vowed to kill him.

• Han Yi escaped the tiger demon, killed Blood God Sect cultivators including Shi Heng and Liao Yan, and reached the immortal ship with Chu Jinmo, He Fengdi, and Shen Ru.
• Han Yi discovered that a Universe Bag he had taken contained the Blood Bone Spirit Flower, sold the bag for Pure Yang Spiritual Liquid, and refined the flower to improve his cultivation speed.
• After returning from seclusion, Han Yi heard Luo Yunzhou’s account of the Liu and Tang clans’ pressure on the Luo Clan and agreed to help him defend its spirit fields.
• Han Yi killed Tang Xiangyu in the arbitration bouts, and Zhao Li conceded defeat, allowing the Imperial Astronomy Bureau to award the spirit fields to the Luo Clan.
• A bandit group ambushed Han Yi on his way to Tong City, but he killed its leader and several men before returning to Daofu City to recover.
• Han Yi learned Liu Heng was wanted for killing Luo Zhiguang and eighteen Luo Clan members, then saw Luo Yunzhou’s body and vowed to kill Liu Heng.
