Beachside, Part Two
Hearing her sister's voice, Yukino froze for a moment, then silently rolled over and lay facedown on the mat.
She buried her head under her arms like an ostrich, kicking the blanket beneath her with all her might.
She let out a soft scream born of overwhelming embarrassment.
Haruno was silent for a while before saying, "Actually, I didn't see anything just now. Do you believe me?"
Hachiman asked Haruno in return, "Actually, we weren't doing anything. I was just applying sunscreen normally. Do you believe me?"
"Huh?" Haruno obviously didn't believe Hachiman's nonsense. After all, she had just witnessed him molesting her little sister with her own eyes.

As she spoke, Haruno pointed behind her. Hachiman and Yukino followed her gesture and indeed saw a group of college-aged people waving at them.

Haruno wore an extremely fake expression.
"Hachiman-kun, let's go."
Yukino directly pulled Hachiman toward Yui and the others.

Yukino completely ignored Haruno's feigned sadness and walked straight toward the sea.

Yui, who was splashing water back and forth with Komachi, greeted the two of them as they approached.
As Yukino walked through the sea, she felt the water flowing past her toes and calves, along with the sand beneath her feet as she moved.

Yukino secretly decided that this deadbeat wasn't getting into bed that night. She would make him spend the night on the floor.
Though the weather was hot, would he catch cold sleeping on the floor? What if he got diarrhea? Perhaps she should let him sleep on the sofa instead.
Having made up her mind, Yukino gave Hachiman, who was some distance away, an ominous smile.
Hachiman inexplicably felt a chill down his back. The sensation of the seawater made him shiver even harder.
Seeing the look in Yukino's eyes, Hachiman obediently swam back.
Yukino reached out and pinched Hachiman's cheek, counting it as punishment for smacking her butt just now.
Hachiman saw Yui lying on a swim ring nearby and basking happily in the sun. The cowlick on her head trembled. He bent down and whispered a few words into Yukino's ear, and she nodded along.
The two of them took a breath, then dove into the water together and stealthily swam toward Yui.
With her eyes closed and enjoying her sunbathing, Yui kicked her two chubby little feet in the water.
Suddenly, Hachiman and Yukino each grabbed one of Yui's feet and pulled downward at the same time.

Hachiman patted Yui's head, signaling her to get up.
"Mommy, help me!"
"Eh? Eh!" Yui froze for a moment and realized that the water only reached her chin. She had choked on several mouthfuls of water because of her own struggling.
"Cough... Waaaaah ┯＿┯, Hikki, Little Snow, you're so mean! I thought it was some thousand-year-old giant octopus! You scared me to death!"
Coughing, Yui wiped her tears as she complained.
"It's all right, it's all right. Don't be scared anymore. I'm here."
Yukino patted Yui's back and comforted her softly.
"I... cough."
"Cough... I wasn't scared. I was just, just startled."
Yukino glared at Hachiman, who was standing to one side. "What are you looking at? Help Yui back so she can rest for a while."
Hachiman obediently stepped forward. With Yukino's help, he draped Yui's left arm over his neck, put his right arm around her fleshy waist, and walked step by step.
Perhaps because she had been startled, Yui's steps were somewhat unsteady. Her full chest rubbed against Hachiman's body, and compared with Komachi and Yukino, it was several sizes larger and exceptionally soft, as though a gentle poke of a finger could make a hole in it.

While he was applying it, Yui suddenly spoke. "Hey, Hachiman, we're friends, right?"
"Of course. What's up?"
"Even if Little Snow becomes your girlfriend, we'll still be friends, right?"
"What kind of silly thing are you saying? You're Yukinoshita's best friend, and you're also my best friend."
Hearing this, Yui closed her eyes in relief and enjoyed the warmth of Hachiman's hand.
After spreading the sunscreen evenly, Hachiman patted Yui's waist.
