Yui joins the Service Club seeking help from Hachiman Hikigaya and Yukino Yukinoshita. Her first request is to learn how to bake cookies for a boy she likes; despite the cookies turning out badly, she gives one to Hachiman as thanks and continues visiting the club to offer her help 2.

Her open friendliness quickly contrasts with Yukino's reserve.
