After a good while, Yukino straightened her disheveled hair, a faint blush on her face.

"En, leave it to me. Yui's too. I remember workplace internships are in groups of three."

The girl patted her small chest, taking on the responsibility.

"What?" Hachiman asked, confused.

"It's a secret. You'll know when the time comes."

Yukino winked, placing a finger on her ruby lips playfully.

Chapter 27: Yui: I Was First

"So this is the secret you were talking about?" Hachiman stood in front of Yukino's apartment door, speaking helplessly.

"Yeah, otherwise, did you really want to go do some kind of internship?" Yukino chuckled, covering her mouth.

"But... is it really okay for us to do this?"

Yui looked a little worried. "Won't we still have to submit an internship evaluation in the end?"

"It's fine. The place I found is one of my family's businesses, it's just a matter of a word."

Yukino said dismissively.

"Eh? Little Snow's family? So this high-class apartment is also Little Snow's, and she lives alone."

Hachiman said, taking out his key and opening the door.

Hachiman's face turned extremely ugly at Yukino's jab.

"Pfft haha~ Your face looks like you just ate a bitter gourd."

Hachiman rolled his eyes and walked in first, putting on the slippers that had been prepared long ago. Then, he reached into the cabinet, took out a new pair of women's slippers, and tossed them to Yui.

"I remember your shoe size. They look like they fit perfectly."

Hachiman said casually.

"I always feel like I have no secrets in front of you two,"

Yui pouted.

"I know your measurements too. Want me to list them?"

Hachiman teased Miss Dango.

"Uwahhh~ Shut up! ≧m≦" Yui quickly covered Hachiman's mouth.

"Hikki, you're so mean. Are those things you can just say?" Her pink-nailed feet kicked Hachiman's shins.

"Alright, you two, stop fighting."

Yukino came out with cut fruit, toothpicks stuck in it.

Yui immediately stopped hitting Hachiman and bounced over to the soft, luxurious sofa, comfortably eating the expensive fruit.

"Goo hehe~ Melon! My family only gets to eat this during holidays."

The girl's eyes narrowed from the sweetness in her mouth.

"If you like it, you can take some back with you. The servants bring me so much I can't eat it all."

Yukino said nonchalantly, lying on Hachiman's lap.

"Wow~ Little Yukino is that nice? Yui shouted happily, but her expression quickly drooped. This isn't good, I can't do this."

"How about this, you break up with Hikki and I'll be your boyfriend?"

The words were barely out before Hachiman flicked her forehead hard. "What? You want to break us up for a piece of melon?"

Tears welled up in Yui's eyes as she rubbed her forehead. "I was just joking, Hikki hit me so hard."

"Joking? If you make a joke like that again, no matter how many people are around, I'll hold you down and spank you."

Hachiman threatened the adorably clueless Miss Dango fiercely.

"Eh? Little Snow, aren't you going to say something? He said he's going to spank me."

Yui looked pitifully at her best friend.

Yukino nodded, then said seriously to Hachiman: "You can hit me, but you're not allowed to take off my underwear."

"What do you mean!? You two are ganging up on me."

Saying that, she pounced on the lying Yukino.

"Alright, stop messing around."

Hachiman watched helplessly as the two beside him became alluringly flushed from their playful antics.

The two ignored Hachiman's pleas and chased each other around the room, wrestling until they were both exhausted and collapsed.

Hachiman used a warm towel to wipe the sweat from their foreheads. He then bent down and easily carried Yukino to the sofa. When he turned to pick up Yui, he instinctively used the same strength he used to hold Yukino, but felt his waist sink and almost fell face-first onto Dango.

He then increased his strength and tossed the plump Yui next to Yukino.

Miss Dango said nothing, only adjusted her own dango. Her trembling appearance left Hachiman speechless.

"Little Snow~ What should we do now?" Yui said, sounding a bit bored.

"How about we watch a movie?" Yukino suggested after some thought.

"Watch a movie? But I don't want to move right now, and the movie theater is so far away."

Yui thought about it, but her laziness ultimately won out.

"No, we don't have to go to the movie theater. I have a home theater here," Yukino shook her head and said.

Yukino kicked Hachiman's butt with her fair, small feet to urge him on, but Hachiman unexpectedly grabbed her foot.

"You... What do you want to do?" Yukino said in panic, feeling the warmth from Hachiman's palm.

"What do I want to do?" Hachiman grinned and extended his wicked hand.

"Haha... haha.. I was wrong, haha... Don't do that."

Hachiman lightly tickled the soles of her feet, causing the ticklish Yukino to laugh and try to pull her foot away.

However, due to the vast difference in strength and her complete lack of energy, she could only be played with by Hachiman at will.

"Haha.. I really was wrong... What do I have to do to get you to forgive me."

"You know you were wrong? I can forgive you, but give me a kiss."

"Can we... choose something else? Yui is still here."

Hearing Yukino refuse, Hachiman prepared to resume his actions.

"No, no, no, I promise, okay?" Yukino gasped, her cheeks flushed.

Hachiman then released Yukino's foot and looked at her with a smile.

Yukino frowned, intending to just give him a quick kiss.

She leaned her lips towards Hachiman's face, but unexpectedly, Hachiman reached out, cupped her face, and kissed her red lips.

Yui watched the two beside her suddenly start making smacking sounds, and puffed out her cheeks in annoyance.

Only when Yukino was about to suffocate did Hachiman withdraw his tongue, looking at the silver threads connecting their mouths and Yui, who was also blushing.

Yukino felt that in just these past few weeks, her sense of shame had been challenged countless times.

After satisfying himself, Hachiman nimbly brought the speakers over. Seeing Yukino bending over and fiddling with the machine made his heart race again.

Once everything was ready, Yukino troubled herself thinking about what to watch.

"Hachiman, is there anything you want to watch? I haven't watched many movies."

"I haven't watched many either. Who do you think I would have gone to the movies with before?"

Hachiman shrugged, indicating he hadn't paid attention either.

The two then looked at Yui together. Miss Dango's blush hadn't faded yet, and seeing them both looking at her, she panicked.

"W-what? Why are you looking at me?" Yui stammered.

"We just wanted to ask if there's any movie you'd like to watch."

"Hmm~" Yui frowned, thinking.

After a good while, she smiled sweetly and said, "Let's watch a newly released animated movie."

"An animated movie? Sure, what's it called?"

"White Album The Movie."

Chapter 28: Summer Vacation Arrives Quietly

A week had passed since the end of the workplace internship. While other Sobu High School students were suffering, being exploited as free labor, the three members of the Service Club were living a life more leisurely than a vacation.

Hachiman and the other two just needed to hand in the evaluation forms, already filled out with excellent marks by the site manager, to Shizuka Hiratsuka.

"Hmm, have you thought about how you'll spend these next two months?" Hachiman asked casually.

"Eh, I haven't thought about it," Yui replied after pondering, but without an answer.

"Did you eat too much melon, so your brain got corroded by sugar?"

"Huh? Hikki, that's really mean!" Yui puffed out her cheeks indignantly.

"Then, Hikki and Little Snow, have you thought about where you're going for summer vacation?"

"No, I don't want to go anywhere during the summer. Staying home and enjoying the air conditioning with Komachi is the best option."
