Because of the earlier rampage by Utakata of the "Human Path," the Hyuga Clan Grounds had suffered severe damage. Seventy to eighty percent of the houses on either side had been destroyed.
The brothers Hiashi and Hizashi were currently directing the clan members to treat the wounded and clear the grounds.
Hizashi froze when he saw Otsutsuki Toneri suddenly appear, then cried out in shock, "It's you!"
Noticing the Byakugan in Otsutsuki Toneri's eye sockets and his smooth forehead without the "Caged Bird Seal," Hiashi's expression tightened as he thought of something. He hurriedly asked Hizashi, "Could he be...?"
"Yes!"
Hizashi nodded.
