Naruto was eating ramen when Sakura spotted Sasuke walking up to Ichiraku Ramen. She hurriedly lifted the curtain and waved at him. "Sasuke, come on over! Have some ramen with us!"
Sasuke shook his head. "You two eat. I have something to do."
Sakura rushed out and caught up with Sasuke. "Sasuke, what's wrong?"
Looking at Sakura's worried expression, Sasuke said, "Sakura, I... I might be leaving for a while."
He knew Sakura liked him, and he was somewhat drawn to her as well. But compared to such trivial matters, defeating Naruto and leading the Uchiha Clan to its peak were what he cared about more.
"Le... leaving?!" Sakura froze for a moment before understanding. She hurriedly asked, "Where are you going?"
Realizing he had let something slip, Sasuke hastily brushed it off. "It's nothing. There are just some matters at home I need to take care of."
