"Is this the moon...?"
Sasuke paced back and forth in the operating room, his face full of curiosity. He had no doubts about being on the moon, because he trusted that Hyuga Kagami would not deceive him.
Just then, a set of footsteps sounded from outside the corridor.
Sasuke quickly looked over, but when he saw that the visitor wore a mask patterned with flowing water, an uncontrollable look of disappointment immediately appeared on his face.
Hyuga Kagami, controlling a Water Clone Technique, ignored Sasuke. He placed the small storage container holding Fugaku's Mangekyō Sharingan on the instrument rack beside the operating table, then began arranging the surgical tools by himself.
Sasuke walked over at this point. "Are you River Lord from the God Organization?"
Hyuga Kagami nodded, then pointed at the operating table. "Lie down. The operation begins now."
"Where is my teacher?" Sasuke asked. "Uh, I mean Uchiha Homura. Why isn't she performing the operation?"
"I'm responsible for the operation. She went to handle other matters." After a pause, Hyuga Kagami pointed at the operating table again. "Don't make me repeat myself!"
Left with no choice, Sasuke obediently lay down on the operating table.
As Hyuga Kagami opened the storage container holding Fugaku's Mangekyō Sharingan, he explained, "This transplant will place your father's Sharingan into your eye sockets. You may feel swelling, stabbing pain, or localized numbness afterward, but those are all normal postoperative symptoms. There's no need to be overly nervous."
Sasuke nodded lightly.
Hyuga Kagami continued, "The ocular abilities of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan after fusion may inherit your own abilities, but there is also a certain chance that they will inherit your father's."
Sasuke listened quietly without showing much reaction.
