Holding Ōtsutsuki Toneri by the neck, Hyuga Kagami strolled through a ruin on the moon.
Judging by its scale, this ruin had clearly been a fairly large town before it was abandoned. It had numerous buildings and bustling streets, enough to house several thousand people without issue—or even over ten thousand if they packed in tightly.
As Hyuga Kagami surveyed his surroundings, he casually asked, "What place is this?"
Ōtsutsuki Toneri did not answer, remaining silently resistant.
"Hmph!"
Hyuga Kagami merely snorted indifferently and kept walking deeper into the ruins.
Soon, under the meticulous perception of his Tenseigan, he detected faint chakra signatures deep within the ruins. Moreover, they were chakra signatures of the Byakugan, which he knew well.
"How could this be?"
Ōtsutsuki Toneri, who had sensed the faint chakra signatures as well, furrowed his brow in slight shock.
It was obvious that, having lived on the moon all his life, he knew full well that after the elders had passed away one after another, he was the only Ōtsutsuki Clan member left on the entire moon.

A moment later, Hyuga Kagami arrived at a massive underground burial chamber deep within the ruins, still holding Ōtsutsuki Toneri. The earlier chakra fluctuations had come from here.
"What is this place?"
Staring at the rows upon rows of tombs stretching into the darkness, their ends nearly impossible to see, Ōtsutsuki Toneri was utterly stunned.
Having lived on the moon for so long, he had never heard of such a massive burial ground. If all those buried here were his clansmen, then the number of clan members buried here might not even be fewer than those enshrined in the temple.
