In fact, aside from Kumogakure, Orochimaru, and Hyuga Kagami, there was one other person who knew that something had gone wrong with Danzo's soul during the ritual.

That person was Danzo himself!

If he ruled out the possibility that Kumogakure or Orochimaru had leaked the information, then Hyuga Kagami had no choice but to consider whether Danzo had deliberately spread the news himself.

"But why would Danzo spread news that was detrimental to himself?"

A problem with one's soul was an extremely fatal weakness for a shinobi. Under normal circumstances, one would not be able to hide it fast enough, much less actively publicize it.

Moreover, as long as the various factions compiled the intelligence leaked by Kumogakure, it would not be difficult for them to discern the subtle connection between Danzo and the unfamiliar Susanoo that had appeared during the Kumogakure unrest.

Hyuga Kagami even suspected that many factions had likely concluded that Danzo had accidentally obtained a pair of Mangekyō Sharingan capable of activating Susanoo during the ritual.

In other words, having lost Konoha's protection and become a Rogue Ninja, Danzo would soon become a target for capture by every faction.

After all, a pair of Sharingan capable of activating Susanoo was simply too enticing. Capturing Danzo and obtaining the pair of Sharingan in his eye sockets would be equivalent to gaining a Kage-level combatant for free, while also allowing them to study the secrets of the Sharingan. Even the resource-rich Five Great Shinobi Villages would find it difficult to refuse such a temptation.

And capturing Danzo, who had already become a Rogue Ninja, was perfectly justified. It would not provoke Konoha's hostility, at most causing a few disputes.

None of this was difficult to deduce. With Danzo's
