Setting the Bait (Third Update-Please Vote!)

A Konoha Anbu guarding the Archive respectfully bowed to Hyuga Kagami and said politely, "Lord Kagami, this way, please!"

Hyuga Kagami nodded in response, then strode into the Archive.

Now that he was the principal of the Ninja Academy, he was unquestionably one of the village's upper echelon. Combined with his Hyuga Clan background and the accomplishments he had racked up against the Uchiha Clan several times, his reputation within the village had steadily risen over the past year or two. Many young ninja in the village regarded him as someone to catch up to and surpass.

Some gossipmongers even grouped him together with Kakashi and Shisui, viewing the three of them as Konoha's new generation of Sannin.

Tsunade had caught him attempting to obtain the "Yin Seal," yet she had not made it public and had instead chosen to settle it privately. That was also because he had grown into someone even Tsunade could not deal with as she pleased.

After entering the Archive, Hyuga Kagami did not head straight for the shelves containing records on Iwagakure's Explosive Clay. Instead, he lingered around the shelves for Kirigakure, Kumogakure, Sunagakure, and several others, casually browsing information on some of those villages' ninjutsu before finally strolling over to the true objective of this visit to the Archive.

He retrieved the records on Iwagakure's Explosive Clay from the shelf and carefully examined them.

Only then did he discover that Konoha had records of more than ten types of Explosive Clay. Of those, as many as five matched the descriptions of the white Explosive Clay Deidara used when performing "Explosion Release."

Which one is it? Forget it, I'll memorize them all first!
