Chapter Summaries

Naruto told the gathered Jonin that Otsutsuki Toneri had attacked in Snow Country and that two Sun Gods from the God Organization had fought him before one used space-time ninjutsu to take him away. The group learned how powerful the God Organization had become, but the Third Hokage then warned that Madara Uchiha was approaching as towering Susanoo figures charged toward them.

• Naruto described Otsutsuki Toneri’s attack, and Hizashi identified him as the moon-dwelling Hyuga relative who had stolen Hiashi’s Byakugan to obtain the Tenseigan.
• Naruto said River Lord, a Sun God, and he fought Toneri, while Wind Chime stayed in the formation; another Sun God joined before one used space-time ninjutsu to take Toneri away.
• The Jonin concluded that the God Organization had two fighters who could match Toneri, and Fugaku thought the Uchiha had chosen the right side.
• Kakashi questioned Naruto about Kagami’s death and the Impure World Reincarnation, but the returning Third Hokage, Third Tsuchikage, Fourth Raikage, and Fourth Kazekage interrupted him.
• The Third Hokage warned everyone that Madara Uchiha was coming, and towering Susanoo figures charged toward the group.

Madara Uchiha and the First Hokage left the battlefield to fight elsewhere, allowing the Allied Shinobi Forces and the God Organization’s Flame Demons to surround Akatsuki. Obito arrived as the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and demanded Naruto hand over the Nine-Tails, prompting Naruto and Sasuke to attack.

• The Third Tsuchikage questioned Kakashi about Kagami, and Kakashi said Kagami seemed to be in Snow Country and had not been reincarnated by Orochimaru.
• Madara Uchiha blasted away the four Flame Demons and challenged the First Hokage, who drew him away from Konoha to fight.
• With the First Hokage and Madara Uchiha gone, the Allied Shinobi Forces and the Flame Demons surrounded Akatsuki.

Obito used his mastery of Six Paths powers to overpower Naruto and withstand his Rasengan barrage, leaving the Allied Shinobi Forces shaken by the gap in their strength. Naruto rejected Obito’s plan to end the old world, but Obito said he needed no one’s approval.

• Obito used Banshō Ten'in to pull Naruto toward him, absorbed Naruto’s Rasengan, and revealed a Mangekyō Sharingan in his palm.
• Naruto attacked Obito with nine Rasengan, but Obito stood unharmed behind a Truth-Seeking Orb barrier.

Obito survived the Mutual Multiplication Explosive Tags unharmed, pinned the recovering Second Hokage and Fourth Hokage with Black Rods, and rose above the Allied Shinobi Forces.

• Obito used Banshō Ten'in to pull Naruto toward him as Sasuke and the Allied Shinobi Forces attacked.
• Kakashi appeared beside Naruto and threw the Fourth Hokage’s Ninja Love Sword, allowing Minato to teleport himself and Obito away from Naruto.
• Minato brought Obito to the Second Hokage’s prepared trap, where the Mutual Multiplication Explosive Tags detonated amid protective Earth Style Walls.

• Sasuke, Naruto, Shisui, Itachi, and Shinichi regrouped and learned that the God Organization members were in Snow Country dealing with Otsutsuki Toneri and his Tenseigan.
• Obito’s chakra surged, a slit opened on his forehead, and he cried out in pain as the Allied Shinobi Forces watched in alarm.
• Kurama warned Naruto that Obito was about to awaken the Eye of the Moon once possessed by Otsutsuki Kaguya.
• In an underground palace, Jigen heard from Amado that the latest experimental subjects had failed, ordered him to continue, and opened a space-time portal to confirm something.

Jigen visited an alternate dimension, found a Ten-Tails imprisoned beneath a wall of Ōtsutsuki symbols, and absorbed some of its chakra before leaving. Meanwhile, Nagato decided to join the battle against Obito, and Konan insisted on accompanying him.

• Jigen examined the Ōtsutsuki symbols carved into a wall and recognized Kaguya’s mark beneath a symbol resembling his own horn.
• Jigen absorbed chakra from the imprisoned Ten-Tails, briefly manifesting dark markings and a large slanted horn before suppressing them and leaving through a space-time gate.
• Konan urged Nagato to stay out of the battle, but Nagato resolved to stop Obito from carrying out the Eye of the Moon Plan and avenge Yahiko and their former companions.
• Nagato agreed to let Konan support him from the outskirts, and the two headed toward the distant battlefield.

Obito’s chakra surged as a mysterious eye opened in his forehead, and Naruto entered Kurama Mode to confront him. After Obito effortlessly repelled a coordinated attack and maimed the Fourth Raikage and Fourth Kazekage, Guy opened the Gate of Death.

• Obito’s forehead slit opened to reveal a crimson eye, and his chakra reached a new level.
• Naruto joined with Kurama and transformed into Kurama Mode, unleashing a golden Nine-Tails.

Hyuga Kagami pushed the Rainbow Ice Wall ritual to its limits as he fused the seven chakra natures and advanced toward Kekkei Mōra. The Caged Bird Seal broke apart, but a strange new power began developing between his brows, forcing him to consume Hero Water and open the Eight Inner Gates as the ritual reached its final stage.

• Hyuga Kagami’s ritual drew in vast natural energy through the Rainbow Ice Wall system, creating a chakra tide that stunned Gaara and Neji and disrupted the Third Kazekage Human Puppet.
• Hyuga Kagami realized that his accelerated fusion of Yin, Yang, and the Five Elements demanded far more chakra than he had expected, though the system’s reserves barely sustained him.
• The Caged Bird Seal collapsed on its own as Hyuga Kagami’s body and spirit became more digitized during his advance toward Kekkei Mōra.
• A slender crack opened between Hyuga Kagami’s brows, and something there began absorbing the Senjutsu chakra in his Yin Seal.

Obito awakened the Eye of the Moon and declared that no one could defeat him, then overwhelmed the wounded Kage, Sannin, and God Organization members. Itachi, Shisui, and Shinichi attacked him, but Obito easily smashed their Susanoo as strange gleams flashed in Itachi’s Mangekyō Sharingan.

• Obito opened the scarlet Eye of the Moon and used Black Rods to pin the Sannin and the two toad sages to the battlefield.
• Obito taunted the wounded Kage and Guy, then challenged Shinichi, Shisui, and Itachi for joining the God Organization.
• Itachi, Shisui, and Shinichi charged Obito with their Susanoo, but he knocked all three away with punches and kicks.
• Itachi’s Totsuka Blade extended toward Obito, but Obito dodged it and shattered the frontal armor of Itachi’s Susanoo with another punch.

Obito overwhelmed Itachi, Shisui, and Shinichi, but Itachi used their repeated clashes to complete Izanami and trap Obito in its closed loop. As Obito stood motionless, Itachi sacrificed a Mangekyō Sharingan and attacked him with the Totsuka Blade.

• Obito battered Itachi's Susanoo and drove Shisui and Shinichi back with his Kamui and Truth-Seeking Orb staff.
• Shinichi used Timehold to restore his shattered left arm and told Obito he had joined the Akatsuki as a spy.
• Sasuke stopped Naruto from joining the fight, and Naruto rested while the Nine-Tails refined chakra.
• Obito shattered Itachi's Susanoo again, completing the conditions for Itachi to cast Izanami and trap him in a closed loop.

Nagato revealed new eyes that allowed him to evade Obito’s Limbo Clone, and the Allied Shinobi Forces saw a chance to join forces with him against Obito. As Naruto and Sasuke struggled to keep fighting, the Nine-Tails proposed using Beast’s Calamity, but warned that the technique required one more prerequisite.

• Obito realized Nagato had evaded his Limbo Clone and noticed that Nagato’s eyes had changed to gray-black with pale blue pupils.
• The Allied Shinobi Forces learned that Nagato had turned against the man calling himself Madara Uchiha, and Orochimaru ordered his allies to help Nagato while eyeing both men’s eyes.
• Kakashi found Naruto and Sasuke badly weakened and urged them to flee, but Sasuke refused because Obito had injured his brother and father.
• The Nine-Tails explained that Obito could track Naruto and that escape would not work, then proposed the forbidden technique Beast’s Calamity, a fusion of complete-body Susanoo and the fully unleashed Nine-Tails.
• Naruto and Sasuke recognized that their abilities could let them perform Beast’s Calamity, but the Nine-Tails said the technique still required one more prerequisite.

Sasuke and Naruto realized they needed to combine Senjutsu with Beast's Calamity, but Naruto could not yet use Sage Mode and Kurama Mode together. As they committed to mastering Sage Fox Mode, Nagato confronted Obito and restrained his Limbo Clones, while Kimimaro struck at Obito through the Truth-Seeking Orb’s defenses.

• The Nine-Tails explained that Sasuke and Naruto needed Senjutsu to make Beast's Calamity capable of threatening Obito and detecting his Limbo Clones.

• Kimimaro charged Obito with a bone blade, but Obito blocked the strike and sent him flying, shattering his weapon.
• Obito broke Yamato’s stone restraints and injured him with a stomp, then searched for Nagato through the smoke.
• Kabuto’s White Rage Technique blinded and disoriented Obito, allowing Nagato to attack with Adamantine Sealing Chains.
• Obito turned intangible to evade the chains, but Nagato’s strange eyes let the chains pierce into the Kamui dimension and bind him.
• Nagato began forming the Reaper Death Seal, so Obito broke free and switched places with his remaining Limbo Clone to escape.

Nagato failed to use the Reaper Death Seal on Obito, but his chains trapped all four of Obito’s Limbo Clones. Naruto and Sasuke combined their powers and struck Obito with a Sage-enhanced Majestic Attire Susanoo, leaving the outcome of the blow unresolved.

• Nagato’s Reaper Death Seal missed after Obito switched places with his last Limbo Clone, and Nagato spat blood from the strain.
• Obito turned to attack Nagato, but the Complete Body Susanoo and fully unleashed Nine-Tails caught his attention.
• Naruto and Sasuke fused their powers into a Majestic Attire Susanoo, and Naruto activated Sage Fox Mode to strengthen it.
• Nagato’s chains bound Obito and pulled him out of Intangibility after his four Limbo Clones were sealed.

Naruto and Sasuke’s combined Majestic Attire Susanoo failed to break through Obito’s Truth-Seeking Orb defense. Obito then defeated them, tore out Naruto’s Nine-Tails, and attacked Nagato, declaring that he had always been a puppet.

• The surviving ninjas watched hopefully as Naruto and Sasuke’s attack carved a huge pit where Obito had stood.
• Yakushi Kabuto approached the pit, and Naruto and Sasuke prepared to strike again when the Truth-Seeking Orb sphere began to crack.
• Obito burst from the pit, tore open the Susanoo’s armor, and knocked Sasuke away before ripping the Nine-Tails from Naruto.
• The Majestic Attire Susanoo collapsed, while Kabuto escaped Obito’s space-time attack by sacrificing half his body with Sage Art: Inorganic Reincarnation.

Obito defeated Nagato and the remaining Allied Shinobi Forces, then revealed that he wanted to create a world with Rin in it. His identity as Obito Uchiha was exposed, leaving the other villages blaming Konoha as he destroyed the rest of his mask and showed his face.
