After passing through the space-time gate, Jigen arrived in a desolate alternate dimension.
Before him stood a massive rock wall, carved with three sets of exquisite reliefs. Each set consisted of two special symbols, one above and one below, seemingly representing something. The third set on the right had been destroyed, making its exact symbols impossible to discern; only some unrecognizable patterns remained.
Glancing at the lower symbol in the middle set on the rock wall, Jigen's gaze gradually turned cold.
If anyone familiar with Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had been present, they would have recognized at a glance that the symbol in the middle and below was almost identical to the two horns on Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's forehead.
Clearly, that symbol represented Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.
There were three sets and six symbols on the rock wall. In other words, aside from Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, each of the other five symbols corresponded to another Ōtsutsuki.
Put another way, aside from Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, at least five other Ōtsutsuki had set foot here, or would soon set foot here.
Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, revered in the Ninja World as the "Progenitor of Chakra," corresponded only to the lower symbol of the two in the middle set.
Above her symbol, there was another symbol representing a different Ōtsutsuki!
If the arrangement of these symbols followed the rule of higher above and lower below, then it meant that Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had a superior, or at least a partner of equal status.
Before long, Jigen withdrew his gaze from the rock wall and looked down.
Beneath his feet was an enormous circular prison chamber. A Rinne Sharingan pattern was carved into its domed ceiling.
Floating through a gap at the side and into the prison chamber, Jigen looked toward the gigantic figure imprisoned within.
The enormous figure confined inside was none other
