Kakashi sat beneath a tree, lazily watching Guy and Kamado spar in the open clearing some distance away.
Their fighting style was unusual. None of their moves actually touched the other, yet they still landed effective blows. The wind carried by their fists and kicks was fierce, and the weeds on the ground swayed continuously whenever they darted about.
Guy was clearly having a much harder time. He still could not master this fighting method proficiently, while Kamado had long since become adept at it.
At first, Kakashi could not understand why they did this. Using released Chakra to attack was completely inefficient. Or rather, it did not even bring out a tenth of one's strength, while consuming enormous amounts of Chakra that could not be sustained for long.
Kamado had told him that this was merely a threshold Lord Shin had set. Only by mastering this method of combat could one learn even greater power.
Kakashi had asked whether Kamado had learned that power, but Kamado had only smiled without answering.

"It's fine. I can keep going." Guy stood there stubbornly.
"Have you forgotten what Lord Shin said? Excessive strain harms the body. It doesn't matter how you used to train in taijutsu, but if you want to undergo Lord Shin's training, you must keep your body in its best condition at all times."
Only then did Guy collapse onto the ground.
For some time now, he had been training in this area with Kamado, but it demanded far more talent than taijutsu training. Guy's Chakra control had always been mediocre. Otherwise, he would not have been known as someone who only excelled at taijutsu.
