Shizune, who had come from another world, adapted quickly to reality, aside from feeling somewhat strange when facing another version of herself and the two Lady Tsunades.
But nothing here was truly unfamiliar to her. There were merely some people who had died in her world.
For instance, she was currently facing Rin, Kurenai Yuhi, and Anko.
"Did you and Lady Tsunade come from the same world?"
"More or less." Hokage Shizune nodded in acknowledgment. She had not experienced the Fourth Shinobi World War, so there was still a gap in time between them.
"Then you and I aren't actually that familiar, are we?" Rin pondered.
Hokage Shizune felt a little awkward. "You can't put it that way. We... were quite close when we were little, weren't we?"
The Rin before her did indeed feel somewhat unfamiliar. The image of Rin in her memories had nearly blurred away after so much time had passed.
She was thirty this year, while the Shizune of this world was only in her early twenties. Rin had been merely twelve or thirteen when she died in Shizune's memories, nearly twenty years ago.
Twenty years was more than enough to forget someone. When Shizune had brought Rin before her, she had been stunned for quite a while.
But Rin merely pursed her lips and smiled. "It's alright. We'll have plenty of time together from now on. We can just get to know each other again."
Though the person felt unfamiliar, that personality still made Hokage Shizune immediately warm to her. Her friend from her youth was a wonderful person too.
Kurenai Yuhi suggested gathering all their friends from the same class so they could have a meal together and introduce Hokage Shizune to everyone.
