Not far away, the figures of Hyuga Ao and three others appeared.
As the Explosive Tags appeared, Hyuga Ao slapped away the oil pool beneath her feet.
Before the Explosive Tags could ignite the oil, Orochimaru and Jiraiya, each taking one person, used Earth Style to whisk Hyuga Ao and Tsunade away from their positions.
Hanzō frowned, "Such fast reflexes!"
This move had ambushed countless people before. He would hide the oil cloud within the rain clouds, let it drip down, and then find a way to ignite it. Coupled with the fact that oil was difficult to remove, it would result in at least moderate burns.
Beside the sea of fire, oil floated and burned on the water's surface. Tsunade snorted coldly, "What a vicious jutsu!"
"Heh heh," Hanzō chuckled, "As long as it's effective."
"Splash, splash." Large raindrops struck exposed skin, even causing a slight sting.
Hanzō tightened his grip on his scythe. "It seems the heavens think we're dawdling and are urging us on."
A terrifying aura pressed down on the four of them. Hyuga Ao felt as if she were in a sea of corpses. All she could see were severed limbs and broken arms, surrounded by the thick stench of blood.
Hyuga Ao was horrified. Can an aura alone reach the level of Genjutsu?
"This is a top-tier expert of the Ninja World!" Hyuga Ao's expression turned serious as she stared intently at Hanzō. She knew Hanzō was about to get serious.
His scythe swept out, creating a crescent shape. Everyone scattered and retreated. The wind from the scythe cut at their skin, causing pain.
A short scythe, connected to a long chain, was controlled by Hanzō, making it effective at both close and long range.
Hyuga Ao lunged forward, drawing her sword and thrusting. Hanzō pulled on the chain, blocking and entangling it. The returning scythe forced Hyuga Ao back.
Taking advantage of the brief opening, Orochimaru's chest puffed out.
"Wind Style: Infinite Breakthrough!"
A hurricane surged forward, containing countless tiny Wind Blades, indiscriminately covering Hyuga Ao and Hanzō.
"Water Style: Water Wall!"
An arc of water condensed in front of Hanzō. He glanced sideways, wanting to see how Hyuga Ao would deal with her teammate's ninjutsu.
Hyuga Ao's Wind Cloak billowed, perfectly merging with the strong wind behind her. A storm-like sword technique enveloped Hanzō.
Hanzō was amazed. What is this airflow around Hyuga Ao used for?
The person borrowed the wind's power, and the sword was imbued with the gale. In an instant, seven sword strikes merged into one.
Despite the constant replenishment of rainwater, Hyuga Ao's sword was simply too fast!
Seven slashes converged into one.
The water wall was split open, and the gale, carrying Wind Blades and rainwater, poured in.
Hanzō swung his chain, his scythe spinning rapidly, turning into a grinding stone that pulverized the Wind Blades and rainwater.
However, the powerful wind force from the Great Breakthrough still pushed Hanzō back.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball!"
Jiraiya's Fire Style followed.
Wind and fire combined, the fire borrowing the wind's momentum, engulfing Hanzō in an instant.
Hyuga Ao's Byakugan stared intently at Hanzō. She saw the flames engulf him, and before long, Hanzō's body turned into a pool of clear water.
"Water Clone!"
When did that happen? Hyuga Ao was confused. She activated her Byakugan, searching for Hanzō's figure.
The Sannin were startled and became wary.
Suddenly, a figure leaped out from behind Tsunade.
Hanzō, mid-air, hooked his scythe towards Tsunade's slender neck.
Tsunade heard the wind and twisted, throwing a punch. She was surprisingly faster than the attack and sent Hanzō flying with a single blow.
As her fist connected, Tsunade immediately felt something was wrong. The sensation wasn't like hitting flesh, but rather like hitting the surface of water.
Tsunade grew wary as a sense of danger came from her side. Without hesitation, she shifted her body, and the scythe grazed her waist.
Tsunade felt a cool sensation pass by her side. The sharp edge of the blade broke her skin, drawing a few drops of blood.
Hanzō's strike missed, followed by a whip kick that hit Tsunade's abdomen, sending her flying.
Tsunade spat out a mouthful of blood in mid-air, flying in a C-shape towards Jiraiya.
Jiraiya leaped to catch her, only to find that the ground where he landed was covered in Explosive Tags.
With no other choice, Jiraiya used Needle Jizo, protecting Tsunade in his arms and wrapping her up.
"Boom!"
The array of Explosive Tags fit perfectly against Needle Jizo, unleashing the full force of the explosion.
The Ninja Art: Needle Jizo could make Jiraiya's white hair as hard as steel, but Hanzō's specially made Explosive Tags were no less formidable.
As the smoke cleared, Tsunade and Jiraiya's figures were revealed.
"What?" Hanzō exclaimed in surprise. He didn't die from such an explosion?
"Shadow Snake Hand!"
While Hanzō was distracted, several poisonous snakes flew out and tightly bound him.
Hyuga Ao arrived, and her Eight Trigrams Domain unfolded.
"Gentle Fist: One Thousand Two Hundred and Eighty Palms!"
One palm, two palms, four palms.
With sharp palm winds, Hyuga Ao swiftly struck Hanzō's vital points. However, after only sixty palms, the Shadow Snake Hand loosened, and Hanzō seized the opportunity to teleport away.
"He got away from that?" Hyuga Ao was extremely frustrated.
On the other side.
Tsunade spat out blood and helped Jiraiya up, apologizing.
"I'm sorry, for me..."
"What are you talking about? This level of burn is nothing," Jiraiya forced himself to say.
"Even this coordination isn't working?" Orochimaru's expression was grave.
Hanzō swallowed a mouthful of bloody saliva. Looking at Hyuga Ao's surprised gaze, he said calmly, "I've had a Salamander Poison Sac embedded in my body since I was young, so I'm different from ordinary people. Your palm strikes are heavy, but they still can't seal my acupoints."
"What about the clone?" Hyuga Ao asked.
She really wanted to know when Hanzō had deployed the water clone.
Hanzō looked at Hyuga Ao and slowly uttered a number: "50 meters."
"What!?" Hyuga Ao was utterly astonished.
50 meters was the observation range of Hyuga Ao's Byakugan in combat mode. In combat, Hyuga Ao could only maintain a 50-meter field of vision; any more than that was beyond her current cerebral capacity.
She hadn't expected Hanzō to discover it so quickly.
"Is this the pinnacle of the Ninja World? Terrifying!" Hyuga Ao finally understood why Hanzō was called a demi-god.
The intelligence-gathering capabilities of a ninja at this level were not to be underestimated!
"Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!"
With three sounds, the snake, frog, and slug dissipated one after another.
All three great summoning beasts had been dealt with by the Salamander's poison.
The Salamander moved behind Hanzō, lifted him, and placed him on its back.
"Have you finished dealing with them? Good, then let's end this battle quickly."
Hanzō, standing on the Salamander, swung his scythe chain, coordinating with the Salamander's arm movements, and attacked the four of them.
The four could only dodge and weave. The Sannin no longer had any spare Chakra to summon their respective beasts.
Hanzō's scythe, Water Style, Explosive Tag traps, combined with the Salamander's wide-sweeping attacks, wove a net that firmly trapped the Sannin and Hyuga Ao within it.
Hanzō's offensive was like the rain today, fine and continuous, becoming increasingly urgent and intense. Gradually, Hyuga Ao and the other three found it difficult to hold on.
More and more wounds appeared, threatening to crush them.
Just as Hanzō thought the Sannin were about to collapse, he noticed they were slowly adapting to the onslaught.
At this point, the Sannin were together, and Hyuga Ao was separate. Hyuga Ao, relying on her speed advantage, could still endure.
As for the Sannin, they initially moved and dodged passively, but gradually, they began to proactively create and seek openings. Under immense pressure, they even managed to break through.
Hanzō looked at the Sannin's state with complex emotions, and his admiration for the young ninja began to grow.
He hardened his heart and shifted most of the pressure he was exerting on Hyuga Ao towards the Sannin.
Hanzō unleashed his full power. The Salamander, Water Style, and scythe intertwined into a perfect symphony.
And the Sannin danced within this symphony.
Orochimaru's secret techniques flew, Tsunade's monstrous strength cracked the earth, and Jiraiya endured with unwavering resolve.
After an unknown amount of time.
In his exhaustion, Jiraiya faltered for a moment and was sent flying by the Salamander's tail.
Tsunade helped Jiraiya up, while Orochimaru stood beside him, full of fighting spirit.
Hanzō looked down at the young Sannin before him. He could imagine their future even with his eyes closed; they would surely be incredibly ambitious.
Their presence in the Ninja World was inevitable.
"Enough," Hanzō sighed inwardly.
Hanzō lowered his head and gazed at the Sannin, observing them meticulously from head to toe.
After a long pause, Hanzō raised his head proudly, arms crossed.
"This war will likely end with Konoha's victory. Since that's the case, I'll let you live."
"We don't need your pity, we can still fight!" Jiraiya roared.
"Alright, Jiraiya, that's enough," Tsunade advised.
Hanzō glanced at Hyuga Ao standing beside them and continued, "You three are very powerful to have survived under these circumstances."
"Since that's the case, I, Hanzō, will henceforth call you the Konoha Sannin."
"Cherish this title, earned with your lives!"
Hanzō looked at Hyuga Ao.
"You're only at this level now, but your future is bright! Go claim your own title on the battlefield in the future."
Hanzō turned and left, his departure filled with a sense of finality. He sighed inwardly, "The Byakugan is truly formidable! Did it see through my thoughts back then?"
"The Land of Rain... it's just not worth it. From now on, none of us will interfere with each other!"
