History

Early H City Operations

The Security Bureau initially approached Lin Chen and Chen Xiao Diao as potential suspects in a major heretical-cult incident, surrounding the bar entrance and demanding identification. Lin Chen's official bravery medal and Chen Xiao Diao's Patrol Team identity defused the confrontation. 45

During the Binjiang Eerie Tide, the Bureau was severely understaffed. Its coastal defenses failed to prevent Water Eeries from reaching residential districts, and internal alerts recorded large-scale casualties in areas where rescue efforts arrived too late. 56 77

Cooperation with Lin Chen

After Yang Moli attacked Lin Chen during an earlier misunderstanding, Lu Wenshu formally apologized on behalf of the Bureau, suspended Yang from regular duties, assigned her as Lin Chen's liaison, and invited him to cooperate. 68

Lin Chen was later appointed a Security Bureau Special Invited Cooperation Card Master, giving him official backing while he organized defenses for his residential area during the Deep Blue crisis. 76
