The other Devil Race members learned of Jiang Chen and the others' whereabouts and hurriedly made way, refusing to engage Jiang Chen and his group directly.
They knew Jiang Chen's side was far too powerful. Ordinary Devil Race armies stood no chance against them. Facing this Human Race army would only mean throwing their lives away.
Along the way, Jiang Chen and the others followed the map and fought their way near the Devil Race military camp, yet they encountered no Devil Race forces blocking them.
They only saw traces of Devil Race activity.
"Master, earlier we could still encounter quite a few Devil Race armies, but we've traveled such a long distance without seeing any sign of other Devil Race members. Could they be plotting something?" someone asked Jiang Chen.
"The Devil Race have probably figured out our movements as well. They know we're coming this way, so they haven't sent anyone else to throw their lives away. They might already be waiting for us ahead, preparing to surround us," Jiang Chen said indifferently.
If Jiang Chen were in Tian Ye's position and a powerful army came bearing down on him, he would probably set an ambush too and wait for the enemy to walk right into it.
He would not send his subordinates to their deaths to intercept them either, because he knew they could not hold the enemy back.
"Then should we change our plans? If we accidentally walk into the enemy's encirclement, we'll be in trouble," a subordinate said.
"With me here, there's no need to worry about that. If even I can't withstand whatever means they have, then we'll just have to accept our fate," Jiang Chen said.
Jiang Chen's cultivation had now reached the Second Level of the Deity Transformation Realm.
