Before arriving in the known universe, Hua Yi had already cleared the Honkai world and held the status of a [Supreme] existence on Teyvat. His history before Herta Space Station is otherwise absent from accessible records. 1 305

Hua Yi began his documented Astral Express-era journey as a new researcher at Herta Space Station's Department of Light Abyss Archives. He rapidly became popular by assisting researchers across departments, including optimizing the Department of Astral Boundary and Flora's database-indexing program. 2 4 He refused Wen Shiling's offer to bypass authorization procedures for Curios, establishing his preference for proper process despite the personal benefit available. 4
