"A wolf's footprint!" Lin Yan cried out. "How could it be a wolf's footprint?! What kind of wolf has footprints this big?!"
An Xinghe brushed aside more leaves nearby and found several more footprints one after another. He explained:
"Look carefully. The front paws have five toes, while the hind paws have four. The toes are clearly visible, which is an obvious characteristic of a canine."
"Also, the footprints are relatively shallow, so it isn't a wild dog. It's a wolf."
