Aside from the energy required for the Bug Nest itself to grow, the fungal carpet, and the Demon Beasts' energy replenishment, Su Xiao had 162,050 points of bioenergy remaining.
With this 160,000 bioenergy, Su Xiao decided to cultivate ten Spore Tanks to handle transportation and storage. The remaining bioenergy would all be used to cultivate Demon Beasts.
After the order to cultivate Spore Tanks was issued, Bug Girl stood up from the mental transmission device inside the Bug Nest and began controlling the Bug Nest. After testing the performance of the experimental mental transmission device, Su Xiao would not use this machine again anytime soon. Under normal circumstances, having Bug Girl control the Demon Beasts was enough.
Once the cultivation order was given, ten cracks appeared on the outside of the Bug Nest. Like balloons being inflated, huge membranes with pale-green outer skins bulged outward one after another. The Spore Tanks were too large to be cultivated inside the Bug Nest.
A few minutes later, the ten bulging membranes burst open, and creatures appeared that were entirely grayish-white, like enormous lumps of soft mud.
These grayish-white mud monsters were Spore Tanks. Spore Tanks had no fixed form. They transported things by swallowing them into their inner cavities.
Although a Spore Tank looked like a fifteen-meter-tall lump, it could actually swallow objects dozens of times its own volume. However, the more objects they swallowed, the slower they moved.
When transporting an object eight times their own volume, Spore Tanks were slightly faster than Mantis Armor but slower than Venom Spikes.
However, they possessed one advantageous trait: their bodies were sufficiently sturdy. This allowed them to extend biological tentacles and have other, faster Zerg units drag them along, thereby increasing their transportation speed.
As for the bioenergy left in the Bug Nest,
