Ash-like material drifted through the sky, like gray snow falling from above. This was the Land of Exile, a symbol of chaos and freedom.
Several figures in protective suits walked across the wasteland. Their clothing was worn, but a closer look revealed that the items hanging from them were highly advanced.
Four people made up a small team. Every time they advanced a certain distance, they had to stop for a long while. For them, assassinating the target was not difficult. The real problem was how to leave the Land of Exile. Several major races had imposed spatial blockades throughout the Land of Exile. Even if their employer had a powerful background, they could not open those blockades at will.
