Baja circled overhead, preparing to draw aggro.

A black slash flashed past, nearly shaving Baja into a flat-top. It had reacted quickly; otherwise, its head would have been severed and it would have died on the spot.

Baja swallowed the snark it had been brewing. In truth, it had nothing particularly snarky to say. When it had first heard of the Nameless One, Baja had felt some admiration for him.
Aside from the sword techniques he had developed himself and one ultimate ability, the Nameless One possessed no other active abilities. He was unlike the Fallen Deity, whose flames of sin had given rise to all kinds of abilities.
Even so, the Nameless One's strength was beyond doubt. The blade in his hands was nearly impossible to block. The only weapon capable of blocking that broad blade was Dragon Slayer Flash.
Or rather, even blocking the broad blade head-on with Dragon Slayer Flash at the Holy Spirit level carried the risk of breaking the blade. But with Su Xiao's Swordsmanship Mastery added to the equation, that risk no longer existed.
