Faint voices drifted in from the streets outside. That was Yuck City's charm. By day, it looked peaceful and tranquil. At night, after finishing work and eating dinner at home, families came out into the streets to enjoy the cool summer night and the food sold along the roadside. It was also the perfect time for young men and women to go on dates.
Yuck City's current stability was, of course, not solely due to the Southern Alliance.
The Containment Agency and the Eclipse Organization blocked the dangers that came from the darkness, creating the peace that existed today. No outsider could know how much blood the members of both sides had shed over the years, or how much misery, separation through life and death, and even despair they had endured.
These people were not entirely glorious, either. Some of them were insane, some were lechers, some were drunkards, and others were simply obsessive. There were no perfect people in this world.
A cool breeze drifted slowly through the window of the office. Su Xiao sat back in a leather chair with his feet propped on the desk before him. Something had gone wrong again with "Ears," one of the organizations under "The Agency." Its leader, Bucky, had suffered a relapse of her old problem.
Bucky was a pitiful woman. She had once given birth to three children, but all of them had died before reaching the age of two. The successive blows, combined with her husband's death, had made Bucky increasingly abnormal. By chance, she later joined "Ears," and thanks to her abilities, rose all the way to become its leader.
Bucky was usually fine, but at certain times, she would "kidnap" children she happened to encounter. She would play with them, bake cookies for them, prepare all sorts
