This Spawn was called "Chigu." A striking scar crossed its enormous armored back. Despite its astonishing regenerative power—enhanced to an absurd degree at the bottom of the Abyss—the slash wound still had not healed. Blue arcs of electricity occasionally surged through it, making Chigu, swimming through the darkness below, emit a muffled growl.

A burly figure sitting on a high platform among the stone forest at the bottom of the Abyss spoke. Multiple compound eyes surrounded his pair of eyes.

Interestingly, Diro's thick brows and large eyes made him look impulsive, violent, and brutal. In reality, he possessed a survival strategy entirely at odds with his appearance and conduct. He had participated in the great battle of the Fallen Star and the even more dangerous subsequent battles in the Void and the Abyss.
