I found myself in a mottled black-and-white expanse. The black and white seemed to be made up of countless irregular shapes, yet together they formed a complete space. I had not moved at all, but my body had cleanly entered a state where its parts could no longer connect.
My body had been isolated and cut apart by space into countless pieces, with each piece occupying a different space. There were countless densely packed spaces here.
Even my eyes and mouth were in different spaces. Under the control of my thoughts, none of my body's parts could be moved. After all, they had been isolated in different times and spaces, which was no different from death.
My thoughts stood before the "self" that had been cut into countless spaces. The shock in my heart was self-evident.
"I just got in, and I'm already going to die this easily?" I helplessly looked at the fragmented body before me, caught off guard for a moment.
However, the body before me had not died. It still remained standing upright, without collapsing after losing the traction of its energy. That alone was already beyond my expectations.
In this severed time and space, such a possibility should not exist, because every part of the body ought to be in a different time and space.
At least when my thoughts returned to my body, it truly felt unreal. Even with my thoughts inside my body, I still felt as though I could not mobilize any of its parts.
After leaving my body again and standing in this space, my feelings were inevitably complicated. It was easy to imagine how powerful the person who had possessed this Dao-Smiting Artifact back then must have been.
What should I do now? My emotions began to rise and fall uneasily.
