The One-Horned Wolf Demon let out a furious roar, and tremendous spiritual energy surged from his body, forcing those demon spirit bodies to keep their distance. It seemed he already possessed the strength of the Demonification Stage.
After rummaging through the spoils I had taken from these demon slaves and consulting several cultivation manuals, I reached a conclusion: demon slaves were born in the Embryonic Formation Stage. Naturally, some were stronger and some weaker, but they grew very quickly during this period, so basically no demon slave ever mentioned the Embryonic Formation Stage.
Once they grew up and took shape, absorbing enough spiritual energy would allow demons in the Embryonic Formation Stage to enter the Transformation Stage. That was the realm I was currently in. The fur on my ears had not even shed, and I still had a tail as well.
As for the higher realm, the spoils only mentioned the Demonification Stage. It referred to the process of one's form beginning to evolve, and was supposedly the most crucial stage. Some demon slaves would evolve to resemble demons more and more, a phenomenon akin to returning to their ancestral roots—like certain beings known as great demons.

For example, only my ears and tail had undergone demonification, but after reaching the Demonification Stage, one might grow fur all over their body or even turn into a complete fox.
Of course, there were supposedly some special beings who had already tempered every part of their bodies before reaching the Demonification Stage. Depending on their personal cultivation methods, they would ultimately evolve in a more humanlike direction.
