The War Emperor Lord roared furiously, "Summer Emperor Lord! Just wait to die here!"
Sure enough, lightning soon erupted all around me. Beam after beam shot toward me, directly or indirectly. They were so fast and their energy so violent that they were practically unstoppable!
This must be the power of Void Ancestor!
Although I had been prepared, I was still startled.

Beams of light pierced through the gaps between the dark annihilation spheres and shone directly onto my hand!
In an instant, it vaporized my hand!
My expression changed, and I immediately enveloped the illuminated area with the Sea of Annihilation!
Just as I had thought, the power that annihilated everything blocked the light. No matter how long those beams continued, they would all be devoured by my Sea of Annihilation!
Only a few rays slipped through and shot toward other areas, where they collided with the defensive range of the Sea of Annihilation on the opposite side!
I was like a general stationed at the center of the Sea of Annihilation, letting the beams batter my defensive perimeter.
The beams kept vanishing, shining down, and repeating the process, but other than making my Sea of Annihilation grow stronger, they had no effect whatsoever.
I wasn't idle either. I pushed my Sea of Annihilation forward, constantly devouring the boundary arrays laid out around me.
In fact, I knew very well how they were using the boundaries. They were doing nothing more than constantly redirecting Void Ancestor's attacks toward me, much like the principle of light refracting through a lens.
