Black Flame Saint nodded slightly to Fang Chen.
Fang Chen walked up to the Glazed Pagoda's entrance and opened the Barriers before its doors. His power held them open, preventing them from immediately reforming.
He passed through the Barriers and reached the doors. Then he placed a hand against them.
"Bzz, bzz, bzz..."
Countless Formation Runes lit up across the doors. Waves of powerful energy surged from them into Fang Chen, setting his blood boiling. Even his soul suffered a violent impact, and a tearing pain rose from its depths.
Fang Chen's body jolted under the strange waves.
"What powerful waves!"
Fang Chen's gaze sharpened. He had thought that even the complete Glazed Pagoda was only a Quasi-Emperor Artifact. Now that he could contend with a Quasi-Emperor, he had expected to take control of this single level with ease.
