Then Fang Chen controlled the Swallowing Heaven Tower, lowering it over the Blood Prison Demon Emperor's corpse and drawing the body into the tower's Eighth Layer.
But Fang Chen did not rush inside to cultivate.
Quasi-Emperor Huo Li looked at Fang Chen and asked, puzzled, "Why haven't you gone in to cultivate?"
Fang Chen smiled at him. "There's no hurry. Before I go in, I'd like to recite the Myriad Buddhas War Scripture with you, Senior Huo Li. Once you've gathered Buddha Light, you'll be able to command the waters of the Golden Spring Sea and become even stronger!"
Quasi-Emperor Huo Li frowned. "Can I learn the Myriad Buddhas War Scripture too?"
Fang Chen smiled. "Of course. Almost anyone can learn it!"
"Very well, then. I'll give it a try!"
Quasi-Emperor Huo Li nodded. He had no objection to a method that could make him stronger, especially one that was not evil.
Fang Chen led Quasi-Emperor Huo Li and the others up out of the Golden Spring Sea. There, above its waters, he began reciting the Myriad Buddhas War Scripture.
The cultivators within the Golden Spring Sea heard Fang Chen's voice. Their spirits soared, and they joined in, reciting after him.
Quasi-Emperor Huo Li watched Fang Chen for a while. The Myriad Buddhas War Scripture did not seem difficult, so he began reciting along with him.
As Quasi-Emperor Huo Li recited, he immediately felt refreshed and full of energy. His Soul Perception sharpened considerably, and a faint Buddha Light began to shine from his body.
"Huo Li, you have remarkable Talent! You've gathered Buddha Light already!"
