Eight drops short. It did not seem like much, but it could affect the formation's completeness and power.
Just as he weighed whether to risk squeezing a little more from some of the Phoenixes, Fire Spirit's urgent voice sounded again. "Daoist Friend Fang Chen, a hundred drops is already heaven-defying! There may be another way to make up for the missing eight!"
"What way?"
"Draw out quality through quantity, and let the Formation Core produce it on its own!"
Fire Spirit explained, "The heart of the Lesser Celestial Cycle Nirvana Array lies in its celestial cycle, which generates the vitality of creation. One hundred and eight drops make a perfect cycle. But if we lay the array with a hundred drops of Essence Blood, their vast Nirvana power and resonance from a shared source may, when the array reaches its peak, cause Void Creation Qi to condense on its own at the Formation Core. It could mimic the Dao Resonance of the missing eight drops. Though it would not be physical Essence Blood, if we can draw it out, it can still complete the cycle. And because the array produces it itself, it may even accord more closely with the Nirvana True Intent!"
It was an even bolder hypothesis!
Use a hundred drops of True Phoenix blood as a catalyst and let the array create the missing portion as it ran!
The risk was that, if they failed to draw out Void Creation Qi, the broken cycle could drastically weaken the array or even cause a backlash.
But if they succeeded, the result might be better than simply gathering all one hundred and eight drops.
Fang Chen looked at the hundred brilliant drops of Essence Blood in the air, then at the Ten Phoenixes on the
