The Heavenly Human Emperor stared at the Heaven Refining Furnace and could not help asking.

Beneath the Star Chart, a second Manifestation began to appear.
Across the furnace's surface, another color emerged amid the glow of the Chaos Star Chart Patterns: an emerald green brimming with life.
Green light seeped from the furnace and gathered in the Void as countless tiny points of light. They drifted down, took root, sprouted, put out branches and leaves, and became Spirit Medicines of every shape.
Some had seven leaves and a single flower, Seven-Colored Light flowing across their leaves and petals burning like flames. Others twisted through nine bends and eighteen turns, their Vines winding around themselves, each segment bearing a crystal-clear fruit.
Still others resembled little trees, with gnarled trunks like dragons and sparse branches. Every leaf shimmered gold.
The Spirit Medicines swayed gracefully in the Void, releasing a rich medicinal fragrance.
The scent lifted their spirits and eased even the weariness deep in their souls.
