The entire Glazed Sword Sect jolted awake from its slumber.

The first to sense something amiss were the disciples cultivating in seclusion within cave abodes across the peaks.

The ground trembled beneath their feet. Dust sifted from the cave walls, and fine cracks appeared in stone that had been nourished by spiritual power for countless years, like fish scales forced apart by a power rising from deep underground.

On a peak shrouded in mist year-round, the Stone Gate of a cave abode stood shut. Inside sat a plump young man. Though he looked young, he was Chen Xiaofei, the Destroyer of Crows Great Emperor, one of the Glazed Sword Sect's central figures.

Chen Xiaofei snapped his eyes open. Dazzling light shone through the cracks in the stone walls, reflected in his pupils.

"What's going on?"

He blurred and appeared at the cave entrance.

He pushed open the heavy Stone Gate, and sunlight poured in, engulfing him.

Before his eyes could adjust, the sight ahead seized his attention.

High in the clouds hung an enormous bell of ancient design. A Seven-Colored halo flowed across its surface—red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and violet—like a rainbow slowly swirling over the bell.

With every toll, the Seven-Colored halo spread outward in ripples, leaving fine, Colored waves in the void. It was the Glazed Bell, one of the sect's Supreme Treasures.

Beside it floated a massive Bronze Mirror, shimmering with the same Seven-Colored radiance. The colors brightened and dimmed in turn across its surface, as though a rainbow had steeped a mirror of the heavens.

The mirror reflected all the mountains and rivers of the Glazed Sect below. Hills, Temple Complexes, and trees caught in its light took on a faint, Colored glow, as if the entire sect had fallen into a Seven-Colored dream.
