"Gone?"
Fang Chen's eyes widened at the sight.
Everything the Paper Crane had swallowed was all he owned. Even the black gourd and black skull True Person Liuli had given him were in there. He had never expected the Paper Crane to vanish in the blink of an eye after swallowing them.
He walked to the spot where the Paper Crane had disappeared and reached into the space there, but his hand caught nothing.
He shouted at the empty air, "Little Crane! Little Crane, come out! Don't scare me! Everything I own is in there!"
The next moment, faint ripples spread through the space about ten feet in front of Fang Chen. The Paper Crane flew out and circled him, looking delighted.
Fang Chen was thrilled to see it. He reached out, caught it, and hugged it tightly to his chest.
The Paper Crane struggled fiercely. It was so strong that it broke free at once, then kept its distance and watched Fang Chen warily.
Fang Chen had not expected the little Paper Crane to be so strong.
He calmed himself and tried speaking to it. "Little Crane, I want the black gourd now!"
At his words, the Paper Crane flew up to him and gently pecked between his brows.
Buzz!
A Seven-Colored Mark appeared between Fang Chen's brows. He felt a cool current flow into his mind, followed by unfamiliar information.
The information was a special incantation.
He stared at the Paper Crane in shock. He had never imagined it could do anything like this.
He silently recited the incantation the Paper Crane had taught him. His vision changed at once. A translucent bubble roughly ten feet across appeared in the void, holding everything the Paper Crane had just swallowed.
He focused his Spiritual Sense on the black gourd.
