He took Wangxian Turtle’s body into the Swallowing Heaven Tower to bring it to the Glazed Sword Sect and attempt to revive him.

• Fang Chen recited the Incantation backward and was sent out of the Tortoise Shell, where the Myna bird and Butterfly Queen welcomed him.
• Fang Chen told them he had received Wangxian Turtle’s Universe Curse but could not learn his ability to foresee the future.

Fang Chen and the myna bird discovered that the Green Grass Great Array was forming a Spirit, but its Spiritual Fetus had stopped developing. After Fang Chen repaired it, the baby girl awakened, called him Master, and received the name Little Grass.

• Fang Chen showed the myna bird the infant forming inside the Green Grass Great Array’s Spiritual Fetus, and the myna bird identified her as the array’s Spirit.
• Fang Chen examined the unstable Spiritual Fetus, consulted the Array Scripture, and found the problem in its stopped Dao Patterns.
• Fang Chen sent Dao Patterns into the Spiritual Fetus and used the Heaven Mending Goddess Manifestation to help the infant absorb them.
• The Spiritual Fetus disappeared as the baby girl absorbed its Dao Patterns and opened her eyes.

• Fang Chen learned that Little Grass could revive the dead within her domain and that she had gained Sentience two hundred years earlier by absorbing the memories of tribulation survivors.
• Little Grass explained that she had used the Green Grass Great Array's energy to form her body and had nearly collapsed before Fang Chen returned.

• Little Grass told Fang Chen that she could revive only people whose Lifespans had not run out, so she could not save the Wangxian Turtle.
• The Wangxian Turtle explained that its sealed Remnant Soul was breaking apart and would disappear within six months.

After Wangxian Turtle's Remnant Soul vanished, Fang Chen began cultivating the Universe Curse and discovered that it resembled the Demon Subduing Curse. He decided to master the Demon Subduing Curse first, leaving him striking Palace Mistress Lingxin's Black Wooden Fish as he cultivated.

• Wangxian Turtle's Remnant Soul dispersed after telling Fang Chen to continue along the path of cultivation, and its power flowed into Quasi-Emperor Huo Li's grass nest.

• The Elf Queen showed Fang Chen and the others the prophet’s vision of a Space Rift opening onto a world of immortal palaces.

• Fang Chen found that his storage Magic Treasures would not open, so he thrust the Floating Immortal Sword into the stone mill and felt its energy flow into his soul.
• Mysterious Formation Runes appeared beneath Fang Chen, and he used the sword as the mill's handle to push it with all his strength.

• Buddhist Cultivators joined Fang Chen in chanting, causing golden springs to rise beneath Tianzhu City and spread into a sea filled with Golden Lotuses bearing chanting Silhouettes of Fang Chen.
• Fang Chen discovered that his Spiritual Sense connected to the Golden Spring Sea and used Instant Movement to travel instantly to its western edge.
• Fang Chen tested the sea’s limits and found that Instant Movement worked across its waters and up to ten thousand li above them.

The Heavenly Human Emperor learned that other races were relocating to the Barbaric Continent to face an approaching Great Calamity, then tried to use the Nether Emperor to win acceptance from Fang Chen and the others. Three years later, a vast golden sea and towering Buddha statues filled much of the Buddhist Land as Fang Chen recited the Myriad Buddhas War Scripture, drawing attention from Human Race cultivators.

• A Heavenly Human reported that the God Race and Demon Race were moving their people to the Barbaric Continent to prepare for the Great Calamity.
• The Heavenly Human Emperor entered the Forbidden Grounds and contacted the Nether Emperor, asking him to plead for the Heavenly Human Race’s acceptance.
• The Nether Emperor rejected the request and ended the communication, then told Fang Chen about the Heavenly Human Emperor’s appeal and affirmed that he would not accept him.
• Fang Chen agreed with the Nether Emperor that they should reject the Heavenly Human Emperor and his people.
• Three years later, a golden sea covered more than a third of the Buddhist Land, where enormous Buddha statues recited the Myriad Buddhas War Scripture with Fang Chen.

Little Grass’s Green Grass Great Array met Fang Chen’s Golden Spring Sea and grew rapidly through it, eventually reaching Tianzhu City. She reinforced the Demon Suppressing Abyss’s seal and told Master Hua that the array now covered the city.

• Little Grass reached the edge of the Golden Spring Sea, where she sensed Fang Chen and learned how his Manifestation worked.
• Fang Chen explained that Buddhist Cultivators could absorb Golden Spring Water to increase their strength, while Little Grass discovered that the water made her grow more than a hundred times faster.
• Fang Chen agreed that Little Grass should expand through the sea, but told her the water could not empower non-Buddhist Cultivators.
• Ten days later, Little Grass’s roots reached Tianzhu City, and Fang Chen allowed her to reinforce the Demon Suppressing Abyss’s seal.

• Little Grass agreed to absorb energy from the Golden Spring Sea to expand the Green Grass Great Array after Fang Chen urged her to do so.
• Fang Chen asked Palace Mistress Lingxin to summon the leaders of the other races to Tianzhu City, where they saw the city submerged beneath the Golden Spring Sea.

• Bai Ling Quasi-Emperor arrived in the Buddhist Land with Saints from Tianyuan Academy to learn Buddhist Dharma from Fang Chen.
